the Name Joseph can change into different names all the time - Joseph or Joe (for short) .... My brother's First name is Joseph but we call him "Joe" for short - I don't see the different about the middle name change on Michael of course.

I don't know. Sometimes things are half-truths/ half-lies. I'm not really sure because all of the other notes in the photo album are in his handwriting except for those two. They could have been planted or tampered with....

Edit: He does have have several different writing styles it seems, nevertheless I think those two letters were probably planted. Sometimes, when people are in constant fear of having their privacy invaded they become masters at keeping secrets in an attempt to keep at least some things sacred. I wouldn't be surprised if Michael gave people wrong information to throw them off. I don't think we'll ever know.

I think it was a crasy american girl who tooke an "exotic" name and wrote a letter in wish she could fullfill her dreams to marry Michael.
