The Michael Jackson documentary This Is It is expected to be a blockbuster bonanza, with hundreds of showings already sold out across the world.....but it's opening under an uproar, with shocking new claims that a body double is used in the movie.

A source close to the Jackson family tells INSIDE EDITION that a young dancer fills in for the King of Pop in certain scenes in This Is It. His name is Misha Gabriel, and he was hired as a back-up dancer for Michael's London concert tour.

In This Is It, Gabriel "does all of the stunt moves for Michael," and "any significant gyrations" according to the source.

The 22-year old dancer is from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and he is listed in the movie's credits. He also appeared on Larry King Live shortly after Jackson's death, along with several other dancers.

Michael's father Joe Jackson first sparked the body double controversy when he was quoted in London's News of the World as saying, "This movie features body doubles, no doubt about it."

Now, the entire Jackson family is said to be "furious" about the documentary, which they say was designed to make Jackson appear healthier than he was.

"Five to ten per cent of the actual footage in This Is It is designed to make Michael look like he's okay," according to the source. "It's a propaganda tool and the family is unified in their discontent."

Some fans agree, and have started a web page called "This Is Not It."

In a statement, Sony told INSIDE EDITION, "This statement is pure garbage and there are no body doubles. Audiences will begin to see the film tonight and every time they see The King of Pop they will know that every frame is unquestionably and undeniably Michael."

And Jackson's former manager Frank DiLeo was asked if the documentary used body doubles during an appearance on Good Morning America: "No that's not true. What you see is Michael Jackson," DiLeo said.

Meanwhile, LaToya Jackson is also causing a stir, saying she sees her brother Michael's ghost.

I dont believe there will be any body doubles, all trailers we have seen is of Michael. I am sure they used stand-in to do the stunts, but the preformancece will be Michael Jackson.

ok so i read smth yesterday here or on mjhd bout a cast list for the thriller song in the show app micha is named on that list as mj's double
i only realised recently that when mj did thriller on his shows at the end bit when he gets his werewolf mask on that it's then actually not mj on stage anymore but another dancer doing this bit so mj can go change, refresh, whatever ... so i think that micha being one of the dancers was prob chosen for that part so don't think of it being an actual body double for mj in the movie keep the faith everyone xxx

@MJhunny-yeah I always wondered about the werewolf mask bit-and stuff like when they would make him disapear in the shows and when he would come out he was "fresher"-or like the rocket man bit at the end of Bucharest...hahaha. I dunno how they could be saying that prop is to make MJ look healthier-look all the scens he is undeniably thin-if they wanted to make him look healthier then it looks like they would have gotten someone bigger. Why are they coming out witht this NOW on opening day. It makes me mad ,what are they doing trying to make everyone furious?

I'm glad we are at this point so that we can answer our questions for ourselves when we see TII -- I'm tired of all the specualtion.

I found a video about MG and he looks nothing like MJ so they must mean he was filling in for him when he wasn;t here...just do do the steps or something...i can't imagine it's the MJ we see in the movie, take a look:

I think those scenes we are seeing with MJ crashing thru the window and sliding down the stair railing-little movie shots that were prob gonna be shon at the begininning of the songs.

Yes but we can't decide 100% if the 02 MJ is him or in the TII trailer so I think it will be the same with the film, many will be saying certain songs are MJ and others will think otherwise. It will be nice trying to discover but I think it will be an even bigger enigma. Every song/dance move-It will not be "THIS IS IT", it will be "is it?" or "isn't it?"
