How do you guys celebrate christmas!!!! (off topic)

Hey guys! It's snowing here! And I am in the awesome Christmas mood! Was just wondering, how do you guys normally spend christmas! It's my first time spending xmas overseas and I'll be in switzerland! =D

Do you guys buy a christmas tree, eat a turkey and play christmas carols on the cd player on repeat mode? For me, christmas had always been with my family. We will set up the christmas tree, eat a roast chicken and honey baked ham and play christmas carols NON-STOP! I dont know, christmas to me is always my happiest holiday! I wake up feeling very positive and cheerful!

Christmas is celebrated with family and friends. Gift giving is simple yet fun. Some family members open gifts at midnight while most are purists and wait until Christmas morning. The meal is obscene and all resolutions to count calories or eat healthy are thrown out of the window. Lots of laughter and music fill the day. I typically dislike winter and snow. However, I usually do wish for snow on Christmas.

Christmas starts at our house on Christmas Eve. My mother, daughter and I attend midnight mass. Christmas morning my daughter and I exchange gifts while watching the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Christmas classics on TV Land (who can forget the Christmas episode of the Brady Bunch? That one still gets me LOL) After the gifts are opened, I start to prepare dinner and my daughter is configuring whatever gadget she gets LOL. In the early afternoon my mom will come out and we'll exchange gifts with her. We'll have dinner, watch more Christmas shows, and maybe play a game of some kind.
My father usually comes to see my daughter and I the Sunday before and we exchange gifts with him then. We don't see him on Christmas Day. He spends it with his girlfriend. So, Christmas at our house is pretty boring, but it's cozy and spending time together is the best part! Mom has a dog and I have 3 cats, so needless to say the dog stays home LOL..BUT when we go to my Mom's then the cat's stay home. That doesn't happen too often since my mother recruits me every year to make dinner LOL

this will actually only be my 2nd christmas not living at my parents' house. last christmas was horrible cuz my parents were fighting and going through a lot. thank goodness this one will be better! my mom will decorate the house and do all her cooking on christmas eve. i'm actually not sure what me and my husband will do...we might get a little tree (or maybe not). i'll cook something either here or go to my parents' house and cook there. my brother and his fiancee will probably come down and we'll all eat there...even if they don't come down, me and my husband will still go over. it will be different, since last year wasn't really a christmas and it was just weeks before then that me and my husband got our own place. but in the meantime, i'll play christmas music...and my absolute favorite (that i've listened to ever year since i was like 5) is by stevie wonder! i have his christmas cd on itunes, along with the jackson 5 christmas songs. i do live in texas, so the chances of having a white christmas are slim to none oh well!! oh yeah, and of course we exchange gifts!

I really don't celebrate it.
I believe the real reason should be to appreciate the savior who was the true gift in which this holiday has lost the real meaning. Not that I don't do gifts but just really not a big christmas celebrator
