i live in the UK.. and my partner has a job in CANADA!!

i'm thinkn of emmigrating soon.. any advice!!

Awww good for you!!! Sorry I have no advice for you, I know nothing about immegration. What part of Canada will you be moving to? I'm in the USA and I know Canada is an absolutely beautiful country

What city did your partner get a job in? Are you married?

Hello, I am Canadian and my parents were English. I was brought up in both countries and must admit they both have wonderful advantages.

All my relatives are still in England and I have been there many times but I must say I love it here

What part of Canada are you coming to?? It is not all as cold as people say. I am in British Columbia and we have wonderful weather. I am in the Okanagan and it is Desert country so it is very very warm with very mild winters.

We are a melting pot here and we accept and enjoy all people from all walks of life.

The bigger cities can be scary but we are an accepting and calm kind of people. We can be reserved but we are very fun and funny.

Alot of Canadians have connections to England so I think you will that even though you are not at home we can still make an awesome cuppa tea !!!

no were not married thats on the cards for next year before we go..

we have 3 children an have been together 13yrs..

his job is based is Lethbridge.. we was there in May for 2 weeks its lovely place lots of hills.. and just normal.. not like holidayish..

Maybe just a longer journey? I think it would be pleasant to have some time in a new place with the loved partner. Ask your heart and listen it carefully . Good luck !

Well I hope you don't mind cold winters...Lethbridge is definitely not warm like BC. But what LovelyLurker said about Canada is all true. English roots galore! Hopefully you don't have any problems immigrating...good luck.
