latest on MJHD

now the latest in MJHD is were still waiting for it to be fixed. it will take us 2-3 days to wait and about the new admin we got now the new name of the admin his name is John smith(i dunno if this is true, but i think its true) and about the owner the Sony thing is still a rumor cause we have no proof but i read shikster said, he knows something and he also believes that now Sony owns it now, were under a sony company now LOL but others don't believe it, i think the reasdon they bought it is to watch us, and monitoring us. but were not afraid but as i told them this "the magic and madness is ON!" cause sony now knows every post we have and what were talking about. i hope our site will be back cause now i typed the sites name now dated November 9 6:35 pm it says the domains name or the site is unavailable im really worried now cause we don't want it to be gone for good and even my fellow family is MJHD can access in chat in use of History icon, now we can access on chat but not in forum. I'am a MJHD family member for 5 months already im popular in chat cause they knew me as Aoibhean. Nice to meet you all i came here for updates and keep praying for us to be bck on MJHD cause even our accounts in forum is deleted they are now getting it bck but i gues it will take us long time to wait cause we are now 7000 users in MJHD they are now putting it bck all the accounts gosh! were 7000 members

I did notice the whole thing is entirely gone...now it just comes up with Google link is broken.

I was there on MJHD since early August. I feel rather deflated right now.
How can it be sold to Sony without us knowing? Something fishy or big is about to happen....I can feel it in my waters.

If Sony has been monitoring us all this time, they knew just what info to feed us via tmz et al. wonder what this could mean? maybr this is not a bad thing? They'll know they'd better be taking damn good care of MJ for sure or 7000 'out of their heads' fans will be hard for them to deal with. lol

Yeh. I have an uneasy feeling about the Sony theory. I am not sure if I believe it or not. It could be possible I guess.

If he really is dead then that is just sick on their half playing the fans like that. KO would have to be part of it and I don't think he would, he seems too nice to me & loves MJ..

Well, I have good news and bad news people. Eh bien, j'ai de bonnes nouvelles et des personnes de mauvaises nouvelles.

Good news is we have a less-buggy forum. Les bonnes nouvelles nous avons un forum buggy moins. Bad news? Les mauvaises nouvelles? I heard from our admin that there was a MAJOR forum malfunction. J'ai entendu de notre admin qu'il y avait un dysfonctionnement important forum. Amy tried to fix it, our new admin tried to fix it...nothing worked. Amy a essayé de le réparer, notre nouvel admin essayé de le réparer ... rien ne fonctionnait. So, the forum crashed. Ainsi, le forum s'est écrasé. Everything is gone, including wordpress. Tout est parti, y compris WordPress.

That's the good news at least...no more darn WP bugs. Voilà les bonnes nouvelles au moins ... pas de bugs WP plus darn. The bad news? Les mauvaises nouvelles? We have to start allll over. Nous devons commencer à allll plus. Small price to pay though, yes? Petit prix à payer si, oui? At least MJHD is still up and running! Au moins MJHD est encore en service!

Switching Admin doesn't require major surgery. This is B.S.

Admin are supposed to make regular backups. If they were about to do something major to the forum then they should've made a backup first. This is standard procedure.
There should be backups from last week, or last month. It is impossible that it would all be lost.

No one just "LOSES" a forum..

But now the url say the server is offline. So THEY have pulled the plug.

You are so right about this. A forum or any other website is simply a combination of code and data. Everything that has ever been posted on MJHD is saved to a database and the database "lives" or is hosted on a server. A server can go down or sometimes there is data/code combination that can get hung and most times simply re-booting the server will fix the problem.

If I read the SERVER information correctly on another thread - It said that there were 20+ sites hosted on that server.

So for MJHD if some data became corrupt it could cause an issue with displaying any data associated with the site.

The data is backed by the hosting co. / the server in case something of this nature were to happen.

If the server itself completely breaks down / crashes that would mean that all of the OTHER SITES that "live" are hosted on that server would also be gone.

I would interested to see if the other SITES that live on that same server were affected - because if they are still up and running then the server crashing is not the issue.

The only other problem then would be an issue with the database itself. In which case it could be retrieved via the backup and restored.

When i went to check mjdh 2 days ago it said something real strange!
It said "Michael jACKSON" "Hello World". did it mean anything I don't know but it was there for awhile the date was 11-7-09. maybe mj was saying hi to us.

i hope it will be restored soon..i really hope....i am a member there too ...although i didn't post that much....i always read it....
and about all the discussions....as long as we have them in our head i don't think it's necessary to write everything down again.....maybe the new members will find it a little more difficult but.....maybe we should concentrate on finding new things....
but all in all...i hope we will have mjhd back......

Hi everybody. I didn't log into MJHD for two days and now there's nothing!! I had a bad feeling something like this would happen--thank goodness there's this place. I miss my family and talking about my dear MJ.

Someone said now we have to start all over again, but I think alot of investigating has been done on this site, so all hope may not be lost.

Also the end of last week on MJHD alot of members suddenly left not giving reasons why, i wonder if they were told something or found something out.It all seems a bit odd.

Okay I heard the admin's name was John Smith earlier today, rather common name I thought this morning as I read someone's post, but whoa! I'd read that MJ used a pseudonym in that episode, in the credits, but I'd forgotten what name he'd USED!

It's sad cause sooo much info was saved on MJHD It sucks that for the new believers all that info is gone so they're kinda left hanging... I'm so thankful that we have this site though! All we can do now is sit back and watch this all unfold... If you believe things happen for a reason, we will know in time what that reason is If everything over there really ends up gone forever all we can do is keep positive and keep moving forward
