Janet Jackson -- Dr. Murray Killed My Brother
According to TMZ, Janet is accusing Dr. Murray directly for the first time in this interview that airs on Wednesday.
This is not good news to me. I feel that if Janet were in on the hoax, she would be keeping quiet. I'm feeling a bit confused. What do you guys think about this?
In an interview with ABC's Robin Roberts, Janet stated, "He was the one that was administering ... I think he is responsible."
Murray has admitted to administering Propofol to Michael Jackson, but claims he didn't kill Michael.
In the interview, which airs Wednesday, Janet also claims Murray should no longer be allowed to practice medicine.
Janet also says Michael is constantly on her mind, saying "It's been a tough year ... You have your days where it's just really -- it's hard to believe. And a day doesn't go by that I don't think about him."
Jackson also recounts June 25 -- the day Michael died -- saying, "I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call ... [my assistant] said, 'Your brother's been taken to the hospital. It's on CNN right now. I called everyone's. There's a line busy or -- someone wasn't picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya."
Jackson added, "I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking nobody's calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that's how I found out that he was no longer ... I couldn't believe it."
"It just didn't ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It's still so difficult for me to believe. It's, you know, you have to accept what is. But it's hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that."

Well, let's suppose it's really a hoax, what would we expect her to say? That it's all a hoax? She must say something, and the last thing we can expect her to say is that it's a hoax if it indeed is.

Re: Janet Jackson -- Dr. Murray Killed My Brother
I caught Janet in a LIE! On the TMZ site, Janet claims she was at home in New York when she first heard of Michael's death.
TMZ article:

That is not what was said in a interview on 9/11
LONDON - Singer Janet Jackson has finally broken her silence following the death of her brother and King of Pop Michael Jackson.
She revealed that she hasn’t watched TV news since the pop legend’s demise.
The ‘Nasty’ hitmaker said that continuous coverage in the US, “will drive you crazy”, adding: “Not everyone is stone.”
Janet mentioned that she was “really proud” of her niece Paris for speaking on the public memorial of her father.
The pop star added that that she had met her brother six weeks before he died.
“We had so much fun that day. We kept calling each other after and
saying how great it was,” the BBC quoted her as telling Harper’s Bazaar
magazine.
Janet was working on a film in Atlanta when Michael died of cardiac arrest in Los Angeles on June 25. (ANI)

Whatever the truth is (hoax or not) there is only one thing she could say: that dr. Murray is responsible...She wouldn't say "My brother was a drug addict, or it was my brother's fault". So let's not jump to conclusion yet...let's keep pur hopes up..

Janet Jackson Blames Dr. Conrad Murray for Michael's Death
In Exclusive Interview, Jackson Tells Robin Roberts Brother's Death 'Felt Like a Dream'
BY LYNN REDMOND, MURIEL PEARSON and LAUREN SHER
Nov. 16, 2009—
Speaking out five months after Michael Jackson's death, Janet Jackson placed blame on Dr. Conrad Murray, saying the doctor should no longer be allowed to practice medicine.
"He was the one that was administering," she told ABC's Robin Roberts. "I think he is responsible."
Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, remains the
focus of a manslaughter investigation into the pop star's death. Murray
has admitted to administering the anesthetic propofol, but has denied
giving Michael anything that should have killed him.
Jackson, who has walled herself in silence, fiercely guarding
her private thoughts about the death of her beloved brother, Michael,
opened up to Roberts in an exclusive interview that will air,
Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 10 p.m. ET.
"It's been a tough year," she said. "You have your days where
it's just really -- it's hard to believe. And a day doesn't go by that
I don't think about him."
Jackson recounted the details of the morning of June 25, before
she learned that Michael had collapsed, and her world turned upside
down.
"I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another
morning. And I get a call ... [my assistant] said, 'Your brother's been
taken to the hospital. It's on CNN right now,'" she told Roberts. "I
called everyone's. There's a line busy or -- someone wasn't picking up.
I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I
spoke to my sister La Toya."
Watch Robin Robert's exclusive interview with Janet Jackson, "In the Spotlight," Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 10 p.m. ET.
"I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember
thinking nobody's calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that's
how I found out that he was no longer ... I couldn't believe it," she
said.
Jackson said the she and the entire family were in a state of disbelief.
"It just didn't ring true to me. It felt like a dream," she
said. "It's still so difficult for me to believe. It's, you know, you
have to accept what is. But it's hard. You have to move on with your
life. You have to accept what is and I understand that."
For Jackson, Michael's memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, where the late King of Pop was surrounded by love ones, helped her come to terms with her brother's death.
"My brother's favorite song is 'Smile.' And I thought Jermaine
sang it beautifully, beautifully. And that's his favorite song as well.
...There being some sort of a closure, I suppose, at that time," she
said, getting emotional.
Growing Up Jackson
Janet, who has sold 100 million records and became a five-time Grammy award-winning artist, was the youngest of nine children in the brood. Growing up, she said that she was always closest to Michael.
"We were incredibly close," she said, "A lot of similarities, his love
for children and me being a baby. &We would practically do
everything together from morning to night every day. Everyday."
She recalled how the two would play after school, feeding the
animals together at the family's Hayvenhurst compound in Encino, Calif.
"We'd feed all the animals, took care of the babies. All the
animals -- giraffes, mouflon sheep, deer, they had fawned. All kinds of
animals, all kinds of birds. And I remember I would come home from
school with the hay like I'm going to a ranch," she said.
In later years, she famously wore the key to the animal cages in all her music videos -- a memento from her youth.
But Jackson does not look back on all of her childhood memories as fondly.
Living in the shadow of the Jackson 5, then the most famous family act in America, her father Joe Jackson took the reins when it came to her career.
Jackson, who once had dreams of going to college to study
business law and pursuing an acting career, said her father changed her
career path.
"My father said, 'I think you'll make more money singing than
as an actress... And that was it," she said. "Obviously, he saw
something. And it's sad that it takes away your childhood. If I had to
do it all over again, would I go about it the same way? I would really
have to think about that."
Joe Jackson, the patriarch and the driving force behind his
children's success, has been accused by Michael and others of being an
abusive stage father.
When asked by Roberts if her father was "abusive" or "old
school," she said: "You have to keep in mind that I'm the baby...I
think it's old school. And that may extrapolate into -- a -- being a
little abusive. Do you understand what I'm saying?"
In a July 2009 interview with Chris Connelly,
Joe Jackson addressed accusations that his children sacrificed a normal
childhood for life on the stage. Joe Jackson denied allegations of
beating Michael, but admitted to spanking as a form of physical
discipline. He said he did not regret any part of Michael's upbringing.
"I was very young, very young. I can't remember the exact age,
but very young, younger than ten, younger than nine. ...I remember when
I had called him daddy, and he said, 'No, you call me Joseph, I'm
Joseph to you.' Never said it again," she told Roberts. "...We called
mother -- everybody called mother, mother. So I don't know, I don't
know why. And I've never asked. I've never questioned it. It is what it
is, and I just let it go. Joseph."
Jackson Childhood: No Birthdays, Cartoons
The Jackson children had a unique childhood. As devout Jehovah's
witnesses, they did not celebrate birthdays or Christmas because of
their beliefs.
"I would love to have experienced what it would be like to
celebrate Christmas and birthdays. ...I had my first birthday party
when I was 23 years old. And I'd never celebrated my birthday before
then," she said. "You kind of feel like you missed something. But then
again, you have to, to say to yourself, it's like a catch-22 -- well,
how can you miss what you didn't have? You know? I -- we grew up pretty
quickly."
Two days before her 43rd birthday was the last time Jackson saw Michael.
"We had a lot of fun, laughing. ...I was being silly, acting
silly. And he was sitting in front of me and just cracking up, laughing
at me," she said. "I was being loud. And he thought it was so funny. I
was just being stupid, acting silly."

sang it beautifully, beautifully.

Folks, please remember that TMZ is a tabloid gossip medium that does NOT care about truth.
Tabloids will invent their own stories if they don't find any stories tthey could falsify.
Why do you still believe TMZ and run for it as if every word you read there is the bible?
It is 100% not and MJ would be very disappointed.

hmm. On TMZ they put quote (" ") meaning those are Janet's words. In the other report by Entertainment Daily the last sentence about being in Atlanta is not quotation. So this means it could be newspaper's mistake. Me I remember well seeing reports about Janet being in new York...

Also, she says in the tmz article that it was just another day and another morning when she got the call that he was in the hospital. He was taken to the hospital after like 1 pm California time right? For her in ny it would have been 4 pm when she got the call. Not the morning.

Well, the fact still remains: Dr. Murray is still a free man... as for Janet, I think she's just being a "good sister" by following her "script."

Good observation. That comment doesn't really make a whole lot of sense whether she was in NY or Atlanta, because both places are in the eastern time zone.

The articel stating she was in Atlanta could have been wrong it dosent necessarly mean the Janet was lying. She said from her own mouth that she was in New York, so that is more legit.

We'll just have to sit it out and wait. It seems Dr. Murray's child support or lack of it is more important than the "murder" investigation so I think this should tell us alot!

California is 3 hours behind NY or GA. I live in NC and I got home at 5:30 p.m. that day and it was just announced so she would not have found out in the morning unless she received news much earlier than we did.

Yipe that's right ! She said that in an interview with the magazine (can't remember which one, but I'll check) that she was on location shooting a movie when she heard. Even her co-stars/directors of that movie spoke a bit about the day Janet found out. She also said she hadn't watched TV, kept away from the press stuff etc. I even saw the pap shots too of her arriving at the airport
Not to good of a liar in this senario . Maybe that's what Dave Dave means by "memorize the lies" But then again I'll wait for the interview. TMZ pulls stories out of their butts at times!

Re: Janet Jackson -- Dr. Murray Killed My Brother
Well, out of her mouth in her interview with Harper's Bazaar Magazine--she was in ATLANTA!! So, why can't she remember where she was??? Here is the article:
http://www.harpersbazaar.com/magazine/feature-articles/janet-jackson-interview-1009
Here's the excerpt paragraph stating she was in New York:
Janet left soon after to start work on Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too.
She was on set in Atlanta when she got the call that Michael had died.
She immediately returned to L.A., plunging headlong into a private
family grief served up to a ravenous public. Of course, one of the most
moving images from the memorial service was of Michael's daughter,
Paris, who stepped up to the microphone and said, "Daddy has been the
best father you could ever imagine" before grabbing her aunt Janet for
support. "I was really proud," Janet recalls. "People said to me that
Michael's daughter speaking really gave them a sense of how he was as a
father, in her words. Paris is incredibly smart; they are all so smart.
She's a sweet girl. The kids are doing well. They're with all their
cousins; that family love will keep them going."

This article was the first time she spoke out after Michael's death, so I do think it is legit. I'm sure she would of retracked the events if they were incorrectly published back then. Even Tyler Perry (on TV) spoke out about her being on set, so unless Tyler Perry had something to gain from lying, I'm not going to cast doubt on Harper Bazzar editorial errors.

Re: Janet Jackson -- Dr. Murray Killed My Brother
Seems this is wake up time.
May be Europe is for one time only in advance of the States LOL
Tabloids have lost considerably their readers here - since 20 years the trend is steadily pointing down.
I personally always wondered about your media style and constructions.
I mean, this is all about advertisement. What do you expect as real information content that is left over?
Thank God we still have media channels that are so bright that they discuss the role of media, the lies of media, the hurt done by media. Journalists are criticizing journalists - this is media "culture" here.
What we find in the US as a very peaky example is pure infotainment - openly published and promoted as such. There is a lot going wrong with private information companies. Their interest is not and will never be to inform about anything. Their interest is to create stories that sell in order to get the traffic that creates advertisement attraction and selling ad space.
They are interested in getting paid, not in getting information out or spreading any education to people.
We can certainly discuss the purpose of news, information distribution, journalism as such and media as a structure to get the subjects across.
I just wanted to point out that I personally do not trust in any US TV channel nor US print media for their intention, purpose and business goals.
Don't slap on me, this is just a point of view from an outside of US perspective.
Not saying that everything here is wonderful. But still thinking that we are better off since what I see on the web claiming to be information and truth sofar has only been revealed as one big swindle. TMZ, ET Online, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS and whoever is out there as big channel included. Their helicopters over Beverly Hills are a real pain of infringement of personal rights.
Which means, they don't care at all about anybody.

Re: Janet Jackson -- Dr. Murray Killed My Brother
Here's Tyler Perry's account of the day. Janet was on location filming just like her first ever interview reported in H/Bazzar
here is link:http://www.etonline.com/news/2009/09/78454/index.html
Madea is back for more in 'Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself,' in theaters Friday, and Tyler recalls the emotional moments working with Janet Jackson when she learned her brother had died.
"Janet and I are very close so I was very, very worried about her," Tyler tells our own Thea Andrews. "I wanted to make sure she was protected and comfortable."
Tyler was filming with Janet on the sequel 'Why Did I get Married Too,' coming out in April, when news broke that Michael Jackson had died. In the middle of filming an airport scene with 500 extras, Tyler says, "I [felt] the energy drain out of the room."
Upon discovering what had happened, he spoke with Janet, who he says was "very strong; very quiet, very solid, like a mother. … Her strength was amazing."
After flying home to be with her family, Tyler says Janet came back to work every day.
"I think it was a perfect time for her because she needed some place to vent and release, and her character was going through so much," he says. "To keep her mind off the loss and the circus, and the disrespect of it all and everything that was happening. She was so insulated from it that it was really great; watching black-and-white movies and not really watching television, because it would make her so angry."
Out of respect, Tyler says that he rewrote a particularly relevant scene in the movie: "There was a funeral at the end of the movie where she had to talk about a person who had died, and it was so eerie because the things that she was saying were so close," he explains. "I didn't want to put her through that."
In 'Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself,' America's favorite pistol-packing grandma catches a 16-year-old girl and her two younger brothers looting her home. Taking matters into her own hands, Madea decides to teach them a lesson and delivers them to their Aunt April (Taraji P. Henson), a heavy-drinking nightclub singer. Initially reluctant to take in the kids, she soon learns to open up her heart when she's faced with choosing between her old ways and new possibilities of family, faith -- and even true love. Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight also star.
Watch ET for more with Tyler Perry and the cast of 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself.'

Re: Janet Jackson -- Dr. Murray Killed My Brother
Almost in every interview I saw, they make the statement that "he is no longer with us".
At times in the past ( June-July, and even now) I thought he was in coma or mentally gone ...or in some kind of rehab , but never dead.
By the days, I am less sure he is alive. I went from 50% to 25%, specially after reading Dave Dave´s post about the hoax, this hoax is a hoax....

family grief served up to a ravenous public.
They're with all their
cousins; that family love will keep them going."Thetruth wrote:The articel stating she was in Atlanta could have been wrong it dosent necessarly mean the Janet was lying. She said from her own mouth that she was in New York, so that is more legit.
I didn't even realise you had said NY and not Atlanta because it was the article I was concentrating on . I posted an article from Tyler Perry confirming that she was on location shooting with him
