Jackson's New Movie Not So "New"

"Michael Jackson fans might be a bit upset over this revelation.
The much hyped-about This Is It flick, documenting Michael's final tour rehearsals, seems to have gotten a bit of help from the past.
According to new reports, music experts are claiming some of the sound bytes you hear are actually from years before!!!!
Former BBC senior studio manager Andrew Rose is one of those claiming the film used old clips. Such as when Jackson sings Earth Song, it's actually old vocals from one of his demos.
Rose claims, "Throughout the film sudden changes in vocal timbre
suggest the dropping in of older recordings which may have required
significant digital manipulation to fit the new live backing."
But the most shocking part? Officials at Sony Pictures are admitting to altering the film!
Sony spokesman Jim Kennedy says, "In order to fulfil Michael's
vision for his fans and his children… the filmmakers had to incorporate
some pre-existing materials, including vocals, where the rehearsal
footage audio was incomplete and/or inaudible. In addition, usage of
master recordings (such as Earth Song) was credited in the end titles."
This is It has grossed over $200 million already."

why on earth they used old recordings???

I am not surprised by this at all. AEG/SONY are crooks simply put. I am sure MJ was fed up with the way he was continually being butt f_ _ _ _ d (sorry I don't care for evil ppl) after having given so much to the industry and threw in the towel. That's probably why he rarely showed up for rehearsal. He just didn't care any longer. Those crooks came up with the idea to make TII and make a profit anyway they could. That's why the film has so many off parts (33 clues). MJ was a perfectionist in every sense of the word. Now, I know why Randy made the comment he did back then (MJ would never have approved of TII being released). That's why they had to use old recordings. Whoever manipulated the recordings obviously didn't do a very good job. Now, it seems ppl are starting to sing like song birds. No wonder, MJ had been working on this so long. I am sure he saw the truth of the industry once he got older. I think that is why he put on the best shows and gave so much to his fans over the decades. He knew it would come to this. He knew he would never be able to simply walk away. How do you walk away from your life? Stage your death! People have been doing this for decades. It's simply on a bigger scale because it's Michael Jackson the most well known man on the planet. Keep the Faith!

Why does this not surprise me somehow. I could have sworn that in one part of the movie that Mj was singing but his mouth wasn't moving. No one else mentioned it so maybe it was just me...IDK. Next we are going to hear that there weren't any rehearsals. Strange...

It does not surprise me at all! Throughout the whole film I sensed something "iffy". I dont think the real truth will ever come out.
