Bearden - Coincidence or Planned?

Michael Bearden was the musical director for TII.
So I would assume he would be touring with MJ.
Bearden signs on as bandleader for George Lopez show announced 10/01/09.
Lopez' show airs begining of November, 11/09/09.

With that said, I find it interesting that:
1) One month prior to a brand new show airing on national tv they select a band leader? That's cutting it rather close IMO. Wouldn't you have all of that in order 30 days to air?
2) Could it be it was all planned but not announced until October giving enough
time from MJ supposedly death?

Maybe I'm reaching here but it just seems odd to me.

I just saw the episode where GL interviews him and was thinking the same thing. It takes months, if not a year, to plan a show.

Bearden was supposed to work in London for the TII concerts, no? The GL show had no band leader planned until shortly before the show's premier? Also, some of the TII band members are also in the GL band. Makes no sense, since they would have had to be in London as well.

Also, Orianthi...she cut an album but was going to perform in London? How was she planning to do all the PR for her album if she was going to be in London? She's been doing PR all over the place the last few days. No way was she going to be able to do this if she was performing at the TII concerts.

Seems to be more evidence to the fact that the TII concerts were never going to happen and that they all knew about it.

BTW, Ori is supposed to be on the GL show tonight I think. Wonder what else will slip?

Well technically if the concerts did happen there would have been a break right now from late september to januari so she would have had the time to promote her album..
That said, the thing about Bearden is kind of strange..

Maybe I should phone the showand see if I can get an answer...
