"1998" in his signature...... an observation

Just an observation i find rather odd:

During the late 80's and the 90's MJ would always add "1998" to his signature. Reports say he was told by a psychic that he'd die in 1998 at the age of 40. Well, obviously he didnt.
However, 1+9+9+8 =27. 2+7 = 9.
Mj "died" in 09 at the age of 50.

I wonder if he had he planned a death-hoax in 1998, but stopped it because he became a father? What if he actually had planned it back then? That would explain how the ambulance-mj "looked 10 years younger" - that's how most people describe ambulance-mj.
Perhaps we've had a hoax clue right in front of our eyes for decades, yet havent managed to see it?

Good theory Ballon, and entirely plausible too! We've had an inkling that Michael has been planning this for years but 1998 is a good marker tying in with your observations about 1998

Exactly MyBelovedMJ - He had just become a father - he wasn't going to up and die when he had a 1 year old baby to look after, he knows that would be screwed up which is why he waited until they were old enough to understand then he did it.
