I know I posted this before. But I just want Michael to know how I feel about him.

Just a little boy, a gift from above
His beautiful face shown with God's love
The boy would sing and he would dance for his dear old dad
Make no mistakes or he'll make daddy mad
A belt or a switch it didn't matter at all
Get every step right, he knew not to stumble or fall
When he sang, his voice would ride on the wind
No time for play, he had not one-single friend
He'd sing and he'd sing until his heart was content
And he'd dance and he'd dance until his day was well spent
His comfort was his music and his music became his rage
He longed for the enjoyment of what boys did at his age
When the spotlight hit him, he'd sing for the crowde
And when he was done he knew he did his daddy proud
My little boy has grown into a man
recieved a letter each day claiming "I'm your biggest fan."
Unfortunate children, he took them into his heart
The suffering in their eyes would tear him apart
He'd hold them close and he gave them all he could give
Helped a sick little boy and now that sick boy will live
Such a wonderful man with a beautiful soul
Saving the world, he made it his goal
Then one day the worked marked him with shame
The hatred in their speeches they'd slander his name
With his head down, he walked through the crowed
He cried alone in his pillow, he never cried out loud
The world turned its back, he fell all alone
Calls from reporters, he'd recieve on the phone
He didn't choose this oh so saddened fate
In this world filled with oh so much hate
They'd call him strange because he was a little boy at heart
They mocked and they ridiculed while pulling him apart
He stayed strong while trying to redeem his name
But the world didn't care, they still treated him the same
Anything for the tabloids a hot topic for the news
No compassion for that little boy who once was abused
Through it all his face would still shine with God's love

Dearest Michael,

Happy 51st birthday. I wanted to share a few words with you and I hope you don't mind!

I remember the first time I ever saw you perform. I was ten years old and my cousin was obsessed with “Thriller” and insisted that I watch the video. I have to say it scared the hell out of me! Now thirteen years on I can appreciate it for what it was – simply mind blowing and one of it's kind. I never have, and doubt I will ever again, see a video that is so innovative. It's almost like the screen comes to life. Ever since that moment I have been a fan.

I myself am a singer and my Mum is always telling me that i was singing before I could talk! It brings me so much happiness and I guess that's why I appreciate your music so much, because I know it's what you live for too. I know every single word has meaning and is sincere. We don't hear that in music anymore and I honestly don't know if we ever will again. Anybody can make a record, but it takes someone very special to touch
someone so deep and inspire them. You do this and for that I want to say thank you.

Not only this but you inspire people to be better, to make something of themselves and to help others whenever they can. One of my favourite songs is “Gone Too Soon” and when I think of it I smile. I know that the words have a sad story behind them but if you look further than that you can see the real meaning of the song. Highlighting things that are considered taboo. You truly are an amazing person. You gave so much and took so little in return. I cannot imagine what you must have gone through when people you considered your friends took advantage of you and made up hurtful and disgusting allegations. However, you never let this deter you. You still invited people into your home, your private sanctuary, and helped others whenever you could. Even after your were horrifically burnt during the Pepsi commercial you turned it into a positive and built a burns unit. No-one would have begrudged you keeping that money to yourself but you chose to help others with it. It takes my breath away away just to think of how generous you are.

I never had the chance to come and see you perform because I was too young, however I am sure you would have blown me away. Your presence is simply amazing and people relate to you on so many levels. We, your fans, love you and always will. You bring so much happiness to us. I don't think you will ever know how much we love you, but we know how much you love us.

I also wanted to share my favourite poem with you:

The words have a special meaning to me and I think that they were beautiful. I refuse to believe that you are gone from us and until I have 100% proof that you are no longer on this earth then I will keep believing this. If however you are gone then I will think of you every time I hear the above poem as it depicts how I want to remember you. I hope that you have the chance to read the amazing comments and heartfelt letters that people have written about you. It just shows that there are still people in the world who believe in good and not evil.

I love you Michael and wherever you are I hope you are safe and well. You deserve it.

Oh Michael i am really sad right know...today is your Birthday and i am so divided between joy and sorrow..
i spend hours right now watching your short films and it made me happy to watch you perform becuse you are truly made for it, i am so pround to be a witness of your amazing, unbelievable talent...but i also cound barely prevent myself from crying because i wished we could just see you on TV today saying something like "oh no, there is not going to be a big party...i gonna just eat a little cake and watch cartoons with my children"..

you know, when i heared you were "dead" i couldnt take this information, i dont think i were ever so numb in my entire life... and some days later i just made a t-shirt for me : you know, with your picture and the dates of birth and death- but i was never able to put it on, because my heart told me that heaven would not take you away from the earth, you loved so much, that soon...

i believe you are alive and i promise you never to wear that shirt as long as hope is alive in my soul
