The media will always pick on the easiest target, and Michael being so sweet and nice and generous was the easiest target. Think about it this way, the media are high school bullies who will pick on people weaker than them right? They never pick on the big beefy footballers or the people most likely to beat the cr@p out of them.
In the same way, Michael is probably the only celebrity in the world who won't hit a pap or swear at them. It's not because he is weak because he isn't, he's one of the strongest people ever because he manages to control himself around those who hurt him.
The media makes up all this rubbish about him to sell papers because he is the biggest star in the world and people want to know about him whether it is good or bad. The media knows that and they capitalise on it big time, they don't care who they hurt in the process.

Annie posted the links to the actual pictures showing that the media just took normal pics from years ago and photoshopped them to make people think they were 'death' pictures.

I watched Princess Diana die because she was being hunted by papparazzi throughout her life (I live in the UK, she'll always be a huge part of us here), and I watched Michael hunted in the same way. I've never seen any two people be hunted as much as them, not Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie, not Julia Roberts or many of the big name A-listers who are regularly in mags and newspapers.

It's disgusting and appalling and completely inhuman. The people who target famous people, who hunt them, who deliberately attack them and belittle them are soulless monsters and the lowest of the low. I don't think I have harsh enough words for the disgust I feel towards them tbh. The media makes me so angry

I completely agree. The depth at which Princess Diana and Michael were stalked is sickening. I have always loved Princess Di and I remember very vividily picking up a magazine w/ her on the cover maybe a year or two before the accident. She was at the freaking gym using a leg machine and the paps got a picture of her w/ her legs wide open. It made me SO angry!!! I HATE THE MEDIA!!!
