MJ kids ‘to join Beckham boys at school'

Michael Jackson''s children will join Beckham boys to step into classrooms for the first time in their lives, it has emerged.

All of Jackson’s three children were home-tutored when he was alive.

However, their grandmother and legal guardian Katherine Jackson’s wants them to join other kids of their age and believes this will help 12-year-old Prince Michael, one year junior Paris and Prince Michael II aged seven.

The Daily Express quoted a family friend as saying: “It’s going to be a culture shock for all three kids at first. But all of Michael’s brothers and sisters agree with Katherine that it’s time they stepped out into the real world.”

The King of Pop had once made plans of opening up his own school for his children, as he feared they would be “treated like freaks” in other schools but the plan could never materialize.

MJ’s children will attend the same 30,000dollar-a-year private school attended by the Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham. The Beckham’s third son, the fopur-year-old Cruz, is expected to join the school’s nursery soon.

The Jackson family friend said: “It is one of the most secure and security-conscious schools in America,” and rubbished all talks of the terrifying prospects of the school to Jackson’s protected children by calling them “totally unfounded” (ANI)

I'm not comfortable with all of the publicity surrounding the children. Their father lived in a fishbowl. Why subject the kids to it. If the kids are to attend school, then just do it without making announcements. Sure there will be security inside the school but imagine the additional paparazzi waiting to catch pics of them when they have to go outside. It just feels like they are asking for trouble when such information is made public.

Yea I agree, but for some reason i feel like they are going to be followed for the rest of their lives and we may see their faces a lot as they continue to mature and age. sad but true.

On MJHD there was an article where Marlon suggested they´d kept home scholed. So it was a lie again ?

I am divided in this.. in a way it'd be good for the kids to mingle with others at a proper school but I am also weary of the idea of them being exposed to such a new environment all of a sudden.. plus, there will be without a doubt all those horrible papz waiting to get their pictures although the school is equipped with high security, it can't guarantee the children's safety and privacy 100%

It looks like they are starting to have a normal life. In another post someone showed pictures of the kids out with their cousins and Omer. Personally, I don't think children should be isolated. Being in a 'normal' school environment teaches them necessary social skills. (This could be why MJ was so isolated), but I don't think someone should have gone to the press with which school they would be attending.

Another thought, could all of this be MJ's way of giving his kids the normal lives he wanted them to have? I mean, if you are a good parent there are times when you are going to sacrifice your own wants and needs to do what is best for your children.

i couldn't agree more with u ! to Michael, prince, Paris and Blanket are his world and I am sure he would have thought at one stage that he can't keep them homeschooled forever...he always said that he wants his kids to have a normal childhood and normal life which very well could have included allowing them to go to a school like every other kids therir ages

I agree, The kids school should not be announced to the whole world.
I'm sure they are smarter than that to annouce it. Maybe it wasn't even the Jacksons, who mentioned it, it was the insiders at school maybe.

I'm on the fence about placing them in school so quickly. It's only been 2 months and this has not how they were educated before..... But then again, I also it's good for them to be able to interact with other children their age so they may learn to communicate socially with others.

I totally agree. These kids have been extremely sheltered all their lives and need to be around other kids. They seem pretty normal as it is right now and this school is pretty secure. They will get a good education and be able to make some friends.
I think they will be safe here. The Jacksons know all too well the dangers that may surround these children and I dont think they would be careless in their education. I dont think we're going to see as much of them as you think we will.
I would HOPE that some paps, given the kids ages would have some f****n respect and leave them alone simply because of what theyve gone through.

The Jackson family is doing everything they can to get their hands on all of Michael's money and now spending $90,000 a year to put the three kids in school. That is just a little ridiculous if you ask me. What on earth could possibly make a grade school worth $30,000 a year per child? Is it a boarding school?

as far as I know the school is private attended by kids whose parents are famous like David Beckham's 2 children are attending there too.

Ok but that is still an absurd amount of money IMO.

Why would the family go against Michael's wishes. He didn't want them seen in public until they were old enough to chose for themselves.

They can charge that much for a private school simply because they can. Their students parents are probably insanely wealthy and although that kind of money to you and I is alot,...to them its pocket change. Its taking advantage of the rich if you wanna know my opinion.

Just like designer clothes....youre paying for the name...$500 for a tshirt? Because the rich can afford it and they price their clothes accordingly..

That's a good possibility. If not though, this school has had many famous ppl's kids there. The Jacksons also have had experience with this school in the past. I read Tito's kids went there and that his wife (whom is now deceased) served some type of position there at one time. (that is if articles can be believed )

My understanding is that after Michael went solo they didn't make it on their own and I remember reading somewhere, can't remember, that one of them was working as a grocery store clerk, Jermaine I believe had filed bankruptcy at one point...stories like this. They all at one time, if not still, lived at the Encino home which Michael paid for and his estate is still paying for. Michael took care of that family in more ways than he ever should have. They were not his responsibility. I understand him helping his parents because I would do the same but his siblings had every chance to make their own names for themselves and didn't (except Janet) and they turned their backs on him and sold stories for money. You don't do that to family, but yet Michael still took care of them all.

From what I have read it was a combination of poor business investments, divorce settlements, and living the high life. They reportedly spent money with champagne tastes while only having a beer budget. Michael made smart money investments whereas his brothers reportedly got caught in some get rich schemes that tanked.
