TMZ has new MJ news out today. The headline is Dr. Murray Search Warrant in Jackson Case. The article can be found here:

*On page 14, you will see the name Grace OWANDA, in reference to Michael Jackson's children's long-time nanny. Her actual name is Grace RWARANDA. Here's a reliable website confirming this:

Ha, ha, you picked up everything I did when I read it! I've been trying to locate the case number as well, both with lapd and superior court. No luck either. Keeps coming back with "no records found". Gee they could of at least proof read it before releasing this document

thanks so much for finding that! all doubt I had has now been erased! I have a feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night... for me.

I think the entire Dr. Murray court proceedings shown on TMZ's live-feed looked totally staged. That court appearance was for child support, not for anything concerning Michael though. I thought the whole thing looked like one of those court reenactments, with very bad actors. It's all very odd. Did anyone else think so?

Dr. Cooper, who is named in the warrant as the Dr. who tended to Michael at UCLA is a real Dr. - sort of. The warrant refers to Dr. R. Cooper...Why not spell out his name? Another case of a name that is wrong or open to interpretation.

Everyone involved still knows exactly who/what's meant, which is why the documents are not considered fake just because everything isn't spelled 100% correctly. Lots of regular words are probably misspelled, too.

I find it interesting that on the first page they talk about the investigation of michael jackson? what does he got to do with murray not paying child support?

These documents are not related to his child support court problems... These documents are from the investigation into Murray and the pharmacy raid in Vegas where drugs were ordered for MJ by Murray.

That's a bit harsh don't you think? Minor clerical errors of final signed off legal documents should be proof read before being submitted as such. If the name of the person they so called interviewed ie "Grace Owanda" is incorrect then legally she can say "No, I didn't relay that kind of information, that is not my name on those documents". If you rely on the incompetence of the police officer and court clerk to get the names wrong as just "minor clerical mistakes", then that would prove the incompetence of the general court and legal system in America.

In my country, those "minor clerical errors" are corrected before being signed off by a judge.

I've been a keen observer for a long time, and this was my sure fix after the whole mess with the old MJHD. I was reading this thread with so much excitement. However, I became confused! It seems that Michael and his children are known by different names. By that I mean, there is so much discrepancy with his middle name Joe or Joseph, and the names of his children.

I think the will is fake, so that would explain to me the descripanices. However others probably have a different view. Michaels kids names on their birth certificates and well as his funeral programme at forest glen are identifical. The will to me is fraudulent. But hey, that's my opinion.

No one really knows what MJ's eldest boy's name is (the one we know as "Prince"). We only know for sure that his daughter's name is legally either Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, or Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, and that Blanket's legal name is Prince Michael Joseph Jackson II. The legal name of "Prince" has never been confirmed by a real brth certificate.

LMAO!!!!!! I totally agree with you. Try fighting a speeding ticket, (in Canada) with these kind of errors. The only thing that justifies a non-valid legal document, is if the "location of infraction" is incorrect, and/or "if the officer doesn't sign the document."

So it doesn't matter if someone's legal name is not written correctly, or if an address is wrong, or someone's last name is completely wrong? Interesting.

Sorry but a speeding ticket and a homicide investigations are 2 totally different senarios. This was someone providing evidence in their statement to a possible contributing factor (medically wise) to the death of someone.

Yes, the "Dr. R. Cooper" leaves it open as to who this person may actually be, however it does refer to the Dr. as "she" and Dr. Richelle Cooper is listed as working in the emergency room at UCLA. However the docs state that "Dr. R. Cooper, the physician in charge of the emergency department..." If it is inferring that this Dr. was in charge of the emergency department at the time "Michael Jackson" was brought in, this statement may be true, but if it is inferring that Dr. R. Cooper is IN CHARGE (as in the Head Doctor in Charge of the Emergency Dept at all times, the head honcho) at UCLA, if you go to the UCLA website you will see that this is not the case. Dr. R. Cooper is just another Dr. who is listed as working in the emergency dept.

It could be referring to Dr Cooper being in charge at the time, on that particular shift. My sister works in E.R and that's how she would interpret it.

As for the mistakes in the documents, there are sometimes mistakes, but in a case like this it would certainly be invalidated. such information is crucial in a court proceeding of this calibur.

It seems the pdf document from TMZ is quoting parts of the Dr.Murray/Texas search warrant from July 22, 2009. In the search warrant from Texas, in the identical paragraph about Nanny Grace, the first time it mentions her name it is "Grace Rwaramba" and the second time in the paragraph it just refers to her as "Owanda" see page 14 of this pdf

the paragraph about Nanny Grace first refers to her as "Grace Owanda" and the second time as "Owanda"

So neither one of them got her name right.

If you compare the Texas document to the TMZ document, you will see that parts of them are identical (plagiarized?) {Plagiarism, as defined in the 1995 Random House Compact Unabridged Dictionary,

I missed the "she" part...so it must be Richelle Cooper the warrant refers to. But why not spell it out? The clerk doesn't want to waste letters or ink? I do agree with the person who said that it is important to get the basic information, such as names, correct in legal documents. I worked for a law firm specializing in criminal defense for many years in the US, and it would have been unthinkable to file a court document with an incorrect name, especially the name of a material witness. To refer to Grace as Grace Owanda rather than Rwaramba is unacceptable. Also, It is not legal to deliver a subpoena to a person if you don't have the correct legal name.

At the very least the sloppiness of this document is par for the course in this saga. It is as if nobody in law enforcement gives a damn OR it's a hoax.

LOL, you took the words right out of my mouth. The documents are legit guys, sorry. Clerical errors mean nothing when it comes to search warrants, etc. It doesn't mean he's not still hoaxing his death, but this is definitely not good news.

Well, if legal documents are meant to shine for mispelling mishaps,
then I would suggest either people working for authorities are taking
some efforts, school or apply the easiest control panel in the world:
reread twice and have it corrected by 4 eyes principle.

Sorry if I am appearing demanding in this - I do not accept any excuse
for not being capable to managing a mother tongue. There is no excuse
for this.
Language is culture and heritage and expression of such. It is not a sandbox for babies.

Every lawyer applies at least 4 eyes principle since the documents they
issue are of vital importants to their clients. So if authorities are
not capable to keep mishaps in spelling LEGAL names at bay, they should
close their offices and recap on their purpose.

I 100% believe these papers are fake - as we have seen many times before - and this not only because there is misspelling to be found.
