Skinny michael or not?

Hi all,
Ive heard many people fighting the fact that Michael was skinny near then "end". Now im just stating my opinion here but i think its quite obvious he was underweight and quite skinny. There are people saying "he doesnt look any different from when he did thriller, or say say say" but when you get older your supposed to gain weight, not stay the same. Even MJ said when you get older you change physically. Yes he did try and purposely show his thinness but i dont think many can deny he was underweight, especially looking at his wrists. One of the reasons i made this topic apart from the obvious is that i was wondering why he was so thin, was it drugs? was it wholly to make him look ill? was he paranoid about being poinsoned? or did he just forget to eat?

Look up the video SaySaySay on Youtube. Check out his arms there. I think MJ went from skinny to skinnier and back and forth. Not surprising for someone who supposidly ate only once a day.

Thats right.... He may have been a bit underwieght when considering a healthy weight to height ratio. Michael is always skinny and has been his whole life. He was very skinny in Beat it, say say say and thriller even.

Yeah i know he was always skinny Very Happy

but he looked too skinny, esp in the pics with his kids without masks (i think theyre the right ones im thinking of...)

If I had to do all those things I would have no time to eat.

Maybe he is now enjoying a much slower paced life and his having all his favorite foods.

I thought he was very skinny in the Movie, even his eyes looked sunken , did anyone notice for much of the movie he wore sunglasses? JMO

yeah, it couldve been to hide his pupils which wouldve gotten huge if he had taken as many drugs as were said but im unsure

there is no way he would have been able to function on that stage much less be THAT in control if he was doing all the drugs that he has been accussed of so no,i dont believe he was hiding pupils with sunglasses imo.
and by in control,i am talking about the decisions,the dancing,the timing,etc. he was far too into doing what he does to be under the influence.i dont buy into all that at all.

I think it was a combination of alot of things;
-Stress
-Rehearsals which made him dance A LOT is dancing is basically exercising = loosing weight
-And the drugs he was on

I think that's one of the main reasons why he left.. to get HEALTHY and to get of the drugs. IMO that's why he didn't take the kids with him. I mean, what parent takes their kids to rehab with them? That's just my opinion.

Certainly that meets thin, but I do not fall ill, I think that this age the image that it he wants to project of if same, a fragile and sick man

actually, if he had taken the drugs for as long as they said he had, they would make him normal. If he DIDNT take them we would see him act weird but if he does take them then it allows him to work like normal. It's not like heoinbor cocaine, it doesn't just make you turn to crap. These make you "normal"

didn't aeg docs say he was 130 at 5'9" and that was a healthy weight? yet at death it was reported MJ was only 112.

Didn't the last autopsy report we received say that he was 130 which was in a healthy range for a man his height? I didn't think he looked too thin or sick but I did think he looked tired.

He looked very tired. At times he looked thinner depending on what he was wearing (pointy freaking shoulders).

Who's the girl with him? Isn't that the red jacket he wore in TII?

And yes, I think he was severely underweight...I don't understand how anyone can deny that. But I doubt it was from from drugs since it seemed to happen so quickly...more likely too much dancing and not taking in enough calories.

My thought ( presuming he is alive)

Many actors, before a movie, keep a controlled diet to lose weight ( like Tom Hanks for Cast Away ).

MJ could have been on a controlled diet as well to make the movies and the death more credible.

for me he's thinner due to age, ive a couple of aging family members that are the same way but they are absolutely healthy. michael didnt appear sick in this is it to me. jmo

that's what I thought, too....maybe this pic has been photoshopped? Idk, something looks very weird in this picture..It doesn't seem to be the real Michael to me...don't know why

I don't know...but I'm sure is the jacket he wore in TII (in the lollipop scene Skinny michael or not? Icon_biggrin

). I'm not sure if it's photoshopped because I saw other pictures of him looking exactly the same. I have to look for the pictures...But why would he give that jacket to her to wear? honestly it looks a bit like a woman's jacket (style, color..)

Yes indeed... sometimes I'm shocked by his facial changes from a month to another. It's like I see a different Michael everytime. The same feeling I got from TII and in general. But comparing the images with the girl I can honestly say that the sleeves when he wears the jacket are very short but on the girl it's perfect. I thought, he was very skinny, too. Especially the area around his mouth/cheeks - have to admit, he reminded me a lot of Freddy Mercury in his last video clip - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOJPvxgkvn8
I don't want to draw any parallels (except I think, that Freddy was the best in what HE did, too!)...

The sunglasses: I thought, he might have worn them, because of an eye lifting or smth like that. I thought his eyes looked a bit 'wider' than usual, and normally they would rather become smaller (don't know what to call it) when you get older...

There's one thing I noticed, which made me quite upset - first time in a while. After the Human Nature Performance in the grey suit, he walked with a limp.
I know, this may mean nothing. His sock might just have been crumpled in his shoe, or whatever.
But I thought: Oh God, no - HE hobbles!? Just made an awesome performance although having pain? That really got me. Well, I know, he actually does (Munich 1997)...
