Ok...I immediately started looking for clues...didn't see any. But look how it is worded (besides what you posted Rachel). MICHAEL JACKSON'S "THIS IS IT" Not something like..."THIS IS IT"...Footage of Michael Jackson that you have never seen before! The way it is worded...to me, it seems like Michael is the director. Am I making any sense? I hate when I want to explain something, but I can't find the right words to describe it.

I doubt they will show that Honey. If they didn't show it live on TV it won't be shown in cinemas believe me! Not everyone is going to go and see this so it wouldn't be in their best interests.

I don't believe the movie will "unveil" Michael, so to speak, but I think it will leave us with a question which we will have to figure out.

Yeah, good point. It will probably leave us with a big question mark.
When I was catching up on some coverage from the "funeral" last week, I saw some pics where they had some big production cameras, and some commentator said that those were put there by the family and that it was probably so that footage from the funeral could be included in the "This Is It" documentary.

I really like the poster. Hmmm... I'm making a mental note to smile sweetly at the theatre ticket counter person to see if I can get one for free.

I noticed the tense....
As You've(You Have = present) Never Seen Him Before.
It could have been stated .. As You'd (You Had = past) Never Seen Him Before.

Just how many ways do they think that MJ's fans have not seen him? He's been performing over 40 years. On person may have seen something in 1982 that someone saw differently in 1992 or even 2002. Fans have shared pictures from concerts, video footage, stories etc. Word got around on any innovative parts of his shows. Plus this was rehearsal footage. He rehearsed with intensity but saved the really good stuff for the live performances.

I've mentioned before that I hope that the scalpers don't hack the site and take the tickets for obscene re-sale prices. That would be such a shame especially for those who fans who are sitting on pins and needles waiting for this movie.

I don't think so, their purpose is to make money. It wouldn't be politically correct to insert a butrial footage at the end of it...people come to theatres to celebrate Mj and i don't think they would like to be reminded of his death. You know Banessa this reminds me of signing up for the concert tickets for "This Is It". They went on sale at 7am on a Friday in the UK and I took the day off work so I could get them. I never got them but a friend did and had one for me as well Smile

I think it makes the whole thing seem more spectacular and creates hype if they do this. I know it did with the concert tickets.

I totally agree with you! I think that is the purpose behind it! I also don't know why but I have a feeling that it will be on theaters longer than the 2 weeks they say!

Ok does anyone else find it odd that after Michael's "death" we were only shown like 5 pictures (if that) of him at reheresals and a 2 minute video? Now on the movie poster there are so many more?

I mean if they wanted to prove that Michael was happy and healthy around June 23rd/24th, wouldn't it have been in their best interests to show us these then instead of waiting until now?!

I wonder if it was the theme for the actual tour?! They did state it was supposed to be spectacular and totally different from what we were used to from Michael. Just a thought!
And about the tense: It would not be grammatically correct to say AS YOU HAD NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE.

WOW Rachel...that is an EXCELLENT point. You would of thought they would of released the photos right away and would of been proud to show Michael in his prime. I mean they couldn't of possibly decided to make the "THIS IS IT" movie the day Michael died. Unless of course...IT WAS A HOAX!!! You guys...some days I think "how can we possibly find any more clues?" However, they just keep coming, and coming, and coming... I can't wait to see what's next!!!

They obviously had to save some pictures for the publicity of "This Is It" but that only indicates this has been in the planning for a while otherwise they would have released them all at the time of the "death".

Just two thoughts:

The crown between Michael's ankles, I'm positive that's not a coincidence.

The movie....I'm thinking we'll be able to watch it via our computers/online. (possibility...!!)

Think about it.

I've gone to the web site for the "ticket" to "preregister." You do this w/ your e-mail address.
I went to see what's playing (Los Angeles/Orange County, California) theaters for Oct. 27th through Oct. 30th. There is absolutely NO MENTION of a "This Is It" movie.

Also, how in the WORLD can everyone who wants to see this film see it w/ only a two-week run? I think that's just hype. Something to make us wonder....again.....
