PM's -- what is "outbox"?

On my cell phone, it means that a message is sitting there in Purgatory limbo, and has not been delivered to the intended recipient.

Is this what it means here as well?

I have two messages I have sent today that have been sitting there for hours.

Our PM should be in a "Sent box" which I think (if I remember it well) that really exists. But they keep into "Outbox" which usually is the box where the messages go till they're sent. So, in fact, you're right but don't worry. Messages lying there are already sent and people read them!

PD: At least, that's what happens to me...
