"This is not Disneyland," Kindel said. But he added: "There's a zoo, there are parks ... I think (Michael Jackson) would like the site. It's a little bit like Neverland, but much bigger." I want my cookies XD

Re: Find The Barnum Reference, today's news 8/11
Next month's tribute to Michael Jackson on the grounds of a 17th century palace in Vienna will feature a three-hour, star-studded show to be televised live to a global audience of 1 billion people, the event promoter said Tuesday.
Televised to a billion people = Greatest show on Earth?

Does it have anything to do with the Larry King reference and the cardiac foundation?

Re: Find The Barnum Reference, today's news 8/11
No, jpresley.
But I just re-read and there's a JCC reference too.
Ok, hint. Don't read for the Barnum reference, just look. It's right under your nose. Might help to reread Shikster's latest thread on MJHD about the Pepsi commercial from Dangerous.
The JCC reference is in the text. One of his puzzels, the answer. It's right there.

Re: Find The Barnum Reference, today's news 8/11
"By WILLIAM J. KOLE, Associated Press Writer William J. Kole, Associated Press Writer – 1 hr 9 mins ago"
"and the pop legend's brother Jermaine is assembling the lineup of about 10 "of the biggest artists of our time."
Who is bigger than Michael Jackson?
"He was really fascinated and said, 'This is a really royal and ideal place for such a tribute to Michael,'" Kindel told the AP.
The majestic yellow palace and its sprawling, sculpted gardens are nothing like Los Angeles' Staples Center, where a big Jackson memorial was held last month, Kindel said.
"You can't compare it with a real historic palace which was built hundreds of years ago," he said in his downtown Vienna office.
"This is not Disneyland," Kindel said. But he added: "There's a zoo, there are parks ... I think (Michael Jackson) would like the site. It's a little bit like Neverland, but much bigger."
Iranistan? Barnum's majestic, palace-like homes?
"I don't even know myself" who will take the stage, Kindel said.
Deliberately fluffed quote?
Kindel said the show — conceived amid a flurry of events honoring Jackson since his death June 25 in Los Angeles — also will feature family members and unidentified Hollywood stars reminiscing as images and video clips of Jackson are screened.
Am I reading too much into this sentence?
That's what I've got so far, I'm trying to find the most obvious reference too but no luck yet. Maybe I should go back and read up on Barnum again.

Yes. This. Cookies for you.
Now, who can find the JCC clue that came true in this article? Has to do with a word that threw us for awhile, since it was the european spelling and we were thinking anagram at the time.

Welcome back MrsB
What word is different in the article? Nothing stands out but maybe that's because I live in Europe. Can any of the Americans on here see anything that really sticks out in that article in regards to spelling? I've read and re-read it over and over and nothing is really standing out at me.
I have to find JCC's original clues.

To recap APOM, the pic with the article shows the memorial promoter in front of a giant poster and he is photographed so he looks very small in relation to a giant woman. Additionally, he resembles a little man, with his round features.
JCC=colour of flowers=yellow castle. Friends of MJ wore yellow flowers. Yellow also means homecoming.

Cheers Bec, I got the first bit about the picture - had to trawl through MJHD looking for Shiksters Pepsi thread.bec wrote:To recap APOM, the pic with the article shows the memorial promoter in front of a giant poster and he is photographed so he looks very small in relation to a giant woman. The 'colour of flowers' bit threw me because I was looking for something literal (and because I spell it 'colour' not 'color') and the European word didn't strike me, but it makes sense.
I have finally found a JCC recap thread and saved the clues for future reference so I won't be completely out of the loop next time
The family wore yellow ties as well at the memorial.

"Jermaine thinks maybe 1 billion people will watch the television show," Kindel said in an interview with The Associated Press. "It will be a very special evening for the millions of fans around the globe."
Will the sun be shining if it's the evening in Austria? Late September, sunset will be around 7-8-ish pm, if it starts early enough like at the Memorial then the sun will be shining.
Actually ignore that, I thought about it and my post doesn't work.

Re: Find The Barnum Reference, today's news 8/11
Hold on, I've got something else possibly.
JCC mentioned 'the sweetest river in Germania' - usually when you say the sweetest river it means freshwater as opposed to salt water.
The Schonnbrunn is translated as 'beautiful well' because there was a well inside the courtiers used to drink from. Drinking water.
The Schonnbrunn is on the banks of the Wein [Vienna] river although segments have been partially covered up, but the river still runs under and through the City of Vienna.
The Wein river is fed from the snowmelt from the mountains, the rainfall and the spring water from the Vienna woods which transforms it from a trickle to a rush of water. This same river runs by the palace where Michael's tribute is going to take place.
The Schonnbrunn Palace also has the world's oldest zoo on its grounds plus an new orang-utan enclosure opening summer 2009; and 32 sculptures representing deities and virtues. We know Michael loved classical architecture and sculptures.
Now I know Austria isn't Germania because Germania was located on either side of the Rhine river, but the Wein may be something to think about too.

Hello! Congratulations, you´re great.
mythology - Egypt : sun-god (called Re)
solar system - sun : most important/central star
The sun shines on everyone could be: The king of stars will shine on everybody
(meaning the Vienna show being watched all over the world???)
PRUH - Princess Royal University Hospital (adective used in the article)
princess grace - majestic, royal ( in the article too )
Possible connections to JCC announcements?

Re: Find The Barnum Reference, today's news 8/11
[quote="bec"]
I know many are concentrating on Germania itself and the Mosel River branch of the Rhine. I found the Wein when researching the Schonnbrunn Palace (I wanted to know what was so special about it that they would hold a tribute concert there) before I read about the Mosel River. The Mosel is the favourite because it runs along the Mosel vineyards and Mosel wine is known for its sweet taste.
I admit that Mosel fits the Germania angle but I looked at sweetest in terms of drinking water rather than wine and the Schonnbrunn is named after a drinking water well used by the royal court.
The JCC clues are hard because they can fit any number of possible situations/answers.
It's a possible thought.Another.Part.Of.Me wrote:Hold on, I've got something else possibly.

Hi guys... From What I've found out so far is that "PRUH" is slowakian and means "BAND". In some other thread this KNOCKIE06 posted something about a concert and that he's sure that he has seen MJ. I'll try and find more on that

I'm sorry.. i think i misunderstood that text because i was using google translator. I've checked some more and i had the word translated in english. And it said it means "Ribbon". Well In german "BAND" would mean both. "band" as like music....and "band" as like ribbon. Sorry again!

Ok now....I think some wires in my brain have short circuited so I am going to ask this.......and if someone could refrsh my memory?
When did JCC make his/her post about all the clues? Especially the ones about Germania and the yellow flowers and all that?
When was this article released?

That's what I have been asking in another thread, and in the chat, but I dont have a specific date. Obviously it was before august 1, and we know the article was released last week, if not wrong, thats why I have been working these clues, but Im afraid I am wrong and might mislead us...so I rather keep watching and working until Im sure.

Yes, weeks before. JCC was posting when I first signed on at MJHD, which was around the 17th of July or so. The thread with the anagrams leading to Vienna and yellow and sweet river showed up within the first couple days I was logged on. If memory serves, it was posted sometime between 7/17 and 7/20.
I do find it extremely coincidental.

Re: Find The Barnum Reference, today's news 8/11
Ive followed all of JCC's posts- I have been on MJHD since about 28th of June I remember someone saying that PRUH stood for somehting..
Type it into google and you get: Princess Royal University Hospital
Im sure it isnt that though, if i remeber rightly it was something about a banquetting hall in germany? im not 100% but i KNOW someone found out something interseting about it.
And thanks to MJHD- the topic was deleted, so we cant find out!

If I remember that thread rightly, the Princess Royal University Hospital is a specialist cancer research hospital - someone mentioned that on MJHD many weeks ago when we were going through JCC's clues and said that Michael's 'skin cancer' link plus the specialist cancer hospital connection etc. They thought that he might be recovering in that particular hospital hidden away - although that was just a theory.IWSICS wrote:Ive followed all of JCC's posts- I have been on MJHD since about 28th of June I remember someone saying that PRUH stood for somehting..
