That being said, yes, a person can also get private registration if they want their identity to be a secret. So yeah, this case of musical domain redirects is odd, but in all likelihood it is just someone who likes to play mindgames. It could be someone who's been banned from this community, or MJHD...a disgruntled former member. It could be someone from the THIS IS NOT IT campaign. It could be KF. It could be ANYBODY. There is just no way to know, because private registration is just that: private. So I'm sure it's going to remain a mystery.

Ok finally some answers...thanks for that! But still if it just someone from MJHD or someone who has his or her own personal agenda in all of this ..Wouldn't Sony mind if someone is using their sites for all of this?

Yeah you would think that wouldn't you? I mean just try putting a video on youtube that belongs to one of those companies..within an hour the video is removed due to copyright infringement. Why would they??? This is marketing!
Even if somebody is outside of Sony is doing this, why would Sony not just go with it???
They are trying to get attention for the 2nd movie....
People who don't believe in the hoax will look this is also it up and directing them to MJDH forum. This will make these ppl question and wanting to see the movie...
Now I think Sony is just going along with this whole hoax....
One of my thoughts, from the beginning was if the death was not a publicity stund.... Well maybe they saw there chance to turn the death in to a publicity stund by feeing a hoax!!!

(I wonder if that means that Elizabeth Taylor actually sneaked into a theater over the weekend.) O'Neil also has a batch of goofy forecasts from World Entertainment News Network's Kevin Lewin, who is predicting that both "The Informant" and "Sherlock Holmes" will land best picture nominations, which means either that Lewin is an awfully big Guy Ritchie fan or that Warner Bros. It also marketing and good for their products if someone puts a part of a movie or something on Youtube but they remove it either way. They never want anything messing with their products. They do the marketing. They don't let other people do it for them. It is strange to me if they wouldn't care in this case..That's all.

The site I'm talking about is the official site MJJ something.... It had this little clock on it with 00:00 in the middel, I really don't remember the site.... but it kinda looks like this one, maybe it is nothing but still it reminded me of that.......

You can look at this in 2 ways.

1. We're such a small amount of people and the family don't want to acknowledge us or be bothered
2. Yes we are being played big time & we are part of MJ's game!

It's the second point! Because it' not just here, where his "death" is discussed, it's on youtube so much other blogs, forums, TELEVISION ( remember RTL, who made this "Van- Video" So I'm pretty sure, that the family heard about the people who believe, that michael is still alive and that it's a big hoax

I just read this whole thread in one go and my head is totally mashed!!!

Just want to throw something into the mix here: I was just reading "The Magic and the Madness" today about MJ and Sony and the whole fall-out they had. For the benefit of those who havent read this heres a quote from p611
"Michael began battling with Sony early in the production of Invincible. He had thought that the licence to the masters to his biggest selling albums (Thriller, Bad Dangereous etc) were to revert back to him in 2000, and was counting the days until that would happen. He would then be able to market the songs himself in some way or with some other label, and not have to split the proceeds with Sony. However, when his advisers checked his contract, they found that the classics revert back to Michael only if he releases about one new CD ever couple of years - which was never going to happen in Michael Jackson's world, one in which he spends years on just one project.......However for each specified album he did not deliver (which was most of them) Sony was able to add a few more years to the countdown of rights reversion of the others. As it stood, Michael would be just a tad older than God before the rights to his top-selling albums would ever be reverted to him."

Does anyone know if this was still the case? Or how accurate is this book?

If this was still the case, I wonder..... Im just throwing this out there.... could MJ have worked out a deal with Sony to do this whole thing as a project to pay them off i.e. not the concerts, cos I dont think they were ever going to happen (this book quotes him (p618) saying back as far as 1995 that touring takes too much out of him) but the movie(s), and maybe the interest generated by a hoax? Could possibly explain why Kenny Ortega and Bruce Swedien are involved, for example.

The movie was made of just 3 days of rehearsels...BTW he changed clothing 8 times... But the thing is that he changed by adding or losing something from his outfit.... so he did not actually change 8 times...
Ow and most of the movie was from his last rehearsel...
They don´t care about us, the one fragment we saw after his `death`, sounded different.... the movie was not RAW as they claimed it was edited from begin to end IMO....

IMO it was not a plan of Michael to make this in to a movie, because he was a perfectionist and he would not want the public see a movie of him rehearseling, if he really intended to make a movie.... than those rehearsel footage would be the BOM... He would bust his butt to make the best of it...

The man was just happy the way things were going... But seriously the perfectionist that he is, would he really make that into a movie, he loves wanted to do movies... IMO it was not a plan of Michael to make this in to a movie, because he was a perfectionist and he would not want the public see a movie of him rehearseling, if he really intended to make a movie.... than those rehearsel footage would be the BOM... He would bust his butt to make the best of it...
It is nothing for Michael.... We all remember Thriller???? That was Michael just getting started... Do you really think this movie would be the thing Michael would end his carreer with??? Sorry but IMO Michael has high standerts....I think Randy is right Michael would never approve........

OMG, ...But,...what about MJ's 'satisfied smile' at end of They Don't Care About Us' song inTII, just as camera fades to black. He really looked like the cat who swallowed the canary and was 'happy' about something.

Could be... but I think Michael was/is a dedicaded artist and entertainer.....
I really think that he would do/give more than this, just the outfits...though he would atleast be better dressed... Those we just the 3 last rehearsels...

I think you're not getting my point.
The whole setup is to make it look like rehersal.
If he would have gave it his all, singing and costumes ect., it would probably not have been as believable as what they have presented us with TII the way it is now.
Then it would just have been a taped full on concert turned into movie type thing.

The concerts were not going to happen, they only made a movie about herhersing for those "concerts"

Then played everybody like this was the last footage of michael rehersing for the concerts.

But they didn't reherse, they made a movie.

It works, everbody believes it, it worked out perfectly......something only a real dedicated artist would come up with.

This is not the end it's part of the plan, whatever it turns out to be.

I know what you mean. I agree with it.

When it would be real rehearsal footage, michael would have been making more fun and jokes ( like I saw in another old rehearsal footage, I think it was for dangerous or history). This was all planned he left little messages to us in the movie.

Didn't they say it took a very long time to edit this movie? They had
to piece everything together or something? It was not just RAW footage.
I'm pretty sure this movie was meant to happen and already planned.
Ergo, it is meant to LOOK like rehearsal footage so MJ wouldn't have
had to give his absolute best. It's all part of the plan folks. <3

want to throw something into the mix here: I was just reading "The
Magic and the Madness" today about MJ and Sony and the whole fall-out
they had. For the benefit of those who havent read this heres a quote
from p611
"Michael began battling with Sony early in the production of Invincible. He had thought that the licence to the masters to his biggest selling albums (Thriller, Bad Dangereous etc) were
to revert back to him in 2000, and was counting the days until that
would happen. He would then be able to market the songs himself in some
way or with some other label, and not have to split the proceeds with
Sony. However, when his advisers checked his contract, they found that
the classics revert back to Michael only if he releases about one new
CD ever couple of years - which was never going to happen in Michael
Jackson's world, one in which he spends years on just one

this was still the case, I wonder..... Im just throwing this out
there.... could MJ have worked out a deal with Sony to do this whole
thing as a project to pay them off i.e. not the concerts, cos I dont
think they were ever going to happen (this book quotes him (p618)
saying back as far as 1995 that touring takes too much out of him) but
the movie(s), and maybe the interest generated by a hoax? Could
possibly explain why Kenny Ortega and Bruce Swedien are involved, for
example.

Offers plausible explanations why MJ wrote for years but did did not publish.

MJ was 'cash cow' to many, Sony included, so frightens me to what lengths they would go to to get their hands on his portfolio of work before the 2012 deadline.
