A Mexican-born San Diego nurse named Helena with a "girl next door" look is the woman Michael Jackson chose as a surrogate mom for his youngest son, following a bizarre and intensive screening process, it was reported yesterday.

Citing sources close to the singer, the London tabloid The Daily Mirror reported yesterday that the woman, whose surname remains unknown, accepted $20,000 in womb rent for the nine-month term.

She gave birth in 2002 to Prince Michael Jackson II, also known as Blanket, the product of Jackson's own sperm and an egg from a still-unidentified donor at a suburban San Diego hospital in 2002, the paper further claimed.

"He liked her because she was very attractive and seemed stable and intelligent," an unnamed Jackson friend told The Mirror. "She was a nurse or medical assistant, which he also liked. She was around 5 feet 4 inches, slim, aged around 30 and had long, dark, straight hair. He said she was strait-laced, almost a girl next door type.

"There were no dramas with her. She knew what she had to do and got on with it."
