Stevie Wonder @ The Memorial Empty Stevie Wonder @ The Memorial

Hi everyone,

I just read Rachel's post in de Video section about Jermaine's latest slipp-up. The post referred to a topic on the 'original' MJHD-forum, which wasalso about the lyrics that Stevie Wonder used during his performance at the memorial. As English wasn't his or her first language they couldn't make out the entire lyrics. So I took the liberty of writing along with the 1080px version of the memmorial I have (audio is way better than youtube-videos). Here's what I make of his lyrics (English isn't my first language either, so bare with me):

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stevie Wonder @ The Memorial
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But as much as I can say that and mean it
I do know that God is good
and I do know that as much as we may feel
and we do
that we need Michael here with us
God must have needed him far more

Michael I love you and I've told you that many times
so I'm at peace. I'm at peace with that
I as well told you that I never ever imagined that
I would write a song that'ld be sent to Quincy Jones and
you would hear it and my sister Rene (not sure about the name) would give me the cassette.
I hear it back and be amazed that you did this song
and so incredibly so you did this song.

We can't help but love you forever Michael.

I never drea-/beleave in summer (he corrects himself here. He goes from dreamed to believe to you'd leave really fast)
I thought you would go then come back home
I thought the cold would leave by summer
but my quiet nights will be spent alone

You said you would be the light in autumn
(you) said you'd be the one to lead the way
No I never dreamed you'ld leave in summer
but now I find my love has goen away
Michael, why didn't you stay?

No more lying friends
Wanting tragic things (not sure about this line)
Though they do pretend
They won't go when I go

All those bleeding cons
with sorrows to imbond
(not sure about this line either)
Were right here from the start
And they won't go when I go
And I'll go, (and) I've longed to go so long away from this.

Ugly minds misleaded you
Innocent believed I'm sure
For them there is a risen place
People sitting just for fun
They will never see the sun
For they can never show their faces
There ain't no room for the hopeless ill and
who will take on and he will give
he will give
he will give
he and I gonna give oh yeah (not sure)

the greed of man will be
far away from me
and my soul will be free
and they won't go when I go

since my soul conceived
all that I believe
the kingdom I will see
and they won't go when I go
and I'll go
(well) I'll go
no one can keep me from
my destiny

Michael, they won't go, they won't go
when/where you go

I love you
And I miss you (or God bless you)

I know it's an old song, but that is not what is (or could be) important. It's the adaptation he made for the memorial.
Appearantly he changed some of the lyrics (as a special adaptation for MJ or perhaps a way for the hoaxer(s) to leave clues).
I'm sure you'll agree that there are many puzzles and questions to this whole mystery, don't you? Hence the looking for clues.
