OK GUYS ! I don't know if any of you have hear of the party that was held in may for the so called wedding anniversary of Joe and Katherine Jackson.

well now i found out that they got married in November.
and they said the party was for their wedding anniversary.

well it was not for wedding anniversary but it was a MJ leaving party cause he knew he wouldn't see them anytie soon.
not because of the O2 tour, but because he was gonna pull the hoax off and there is only a small number of his family who knows about the hoax. and the reason why he did it.

Joseph Jackson was born in Arkansas, the eldest of four to Samuel Jackson and Crystal Lee King.^[2] His parents separated when he was 12. He moved with his father to Oakland, California, where he lived until after turning 18 when he moved to East Chicago, Indiana, to live near his mother. While there, he met his future wife Katherine Scruse. After a brief marriage to another woman and then an annulment, Joseph and Katherine began a courtship resulting in their November 5, 1949 wedding. Settling in Gary, Indiana, Joseph, a former boxer, worked full-time as a crane operator at Gary's U.S. Steel company, while Katherine tended to their children. In the mid-1950s, Joseph started a music career with his brother Luther, playing guitar in a band called The Falcons. The group split up a couple of years later after failing to get a recording deal. Joseph returned full time to his job at U.S. Steel.

that makes sense. i did notice that inconsistency about their wedding date and so called anniversary party a while back, but this new reason that has just surfaced makes a lot more sense!

~Actually I have seen references made in Interviews given by both Latoya and I Believe it was Randy and Tito as well saying this was the last time that they saw Michael at this Family evening and that he looked well and Healthy and was upbeat and very much himself~

~This Contradicts all of the stories we are being fed about MICHAEL SHUTTING HIS FAMILY OUT OF HIS LIFE OR "PUSHING THEM AWAY" OR "NOT WANTING TO SEE THEM"~

~If I am not Mistaken there was some sort of Family Gathering on May 16th,2009~

Aren't Joe and Katherine seperated, and have been seperated for years? Why the hell would they have an anniversary party? Me and my ex don't meet up every year to party. Though I would be willing to have a party on the anniversary of the day the divorce was final!!! Very Happy

i know Katherine's birthday is in may (and im sure there are more jackson birthdays in may) - but seeing as they're (or at least Katherine is) Jehovah witnesses, it cant be a b-day celebration....

Good catch guy - it could very well be Michael's farewell party with the whole family. I know Joe lives in Vegas but from articles post 25/6 about the "family gathering 3 weeks before the 'death'" I'd always assumed it was at the Encino compound.

Joe and Katherine aren't divorced but they are separated, and have been for around 6-odd years or something. Katherine lives in the Encino Compound and Joe lives in Las vegas usually.

Why they would have an anniversary party is beyond anyone's guess esp since they are separated and it's highly suspicious too.

I don't know why but I never thought this was an anniversary party.

I just assumed it was a family gathering. I think I read somewhere that La Toya referred to it as a "family party" so maybe that's why.

Same here, I had always heard that it was a family gathering not an anniversary party. I've never seen it specified exactly what the gathering was for so I just assumed it was one of those get-togethers that people do like when you have a barbeque or something.

I can state that when news broke about this party over in the UK (during the coverage of MJ's memorial), I distinctly remember on Sky News that it was "an anniversary party for Michael's parents".

I even said to my husband "But why are they having an anniversary party when they are seperated?" We both thought it very very odd.
