Chief Bratton's wife
I don't know if this has been commented on before, but I post it here just in case it hasn't. I believe that Chief Bratton of the LAPD is a key player in the hoaxed death of Michael Jackson. The fact that he has chosen now to retire early, effective October 31, 2009, seems to be more than a coincidence given that he and his police department are in the middle of an invesitigation into the circumstances of Michael Jackson's death. I did some research and came up with some interesting information.
The chief is married to Rikki Klieman, who is an attorney and also a legal analysit for TruTV, She covered the molestation trial of Michael Jackson.
Here are some interesting articles:

"BRATTON QUITS, Joining Global Police Consulting Firm
By Ron Kaye
"On August 5, 2009 on August 5, 2009 at 10:04 AM. William Bratton -- City Hall's most popular figure -- quit suddenly today, leaving the mayor without his most effective political cover. The Times reported Bratton will "take over as head of a private security firm." He intends to stay until October. Insiders heard he will join the international police consulting firm Altegrity Inc. based in Falls Church, Va. The CEO is Michael Cherkasky, a close Bratton ally who served as monitor of the LAPD's recently ended federal court consent decree. The City Hall rumor mill was on fire that there is a troubling back story to the chief's resignation involving information that grew out of CIty Attorney Carmen Trutanich's investigation of the Michael Jackson funeral case. Sources said Trutanich stumbled across information in the course of that investigation that could prove embarrassing to the chief. Bratton recently put his Los Feliz house up for sale but denied it was with the intention of leaving LA. The Daily News reported he is expected to discuss his plans at a midday City Hall news conference, which will be attended by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. City Council President Eric Garcetti said he spoke to Bratton Monday night. "He did confirm that, for personal and professional reasons, he thinks this is a good time, that things are in good hands, that there's no negative reason at all for him leaving.""

"Jackson Experts: It depends on what side you're on'
Read more at: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rikki-klieman/jackson-experts-it-depend_b_531.html
“The bias of certain members of the media covering the Michael Jackson case is astounding. The so-called "legal experts" and reporters who should be reviewing the transcripts or observing the courtroom with objectivity can only see through their own prism. Those against the King of Pop seem to have some personal investmentment in a conviction. They watched the brilliance of the cross examination of defense attorney Tom Mesereau and called him a bully. They anguished over the "tormenting" of the mothers of the accusers, old and new. Yet, once the defense began its case, they have changed their tune, according great praise to the equally thorough (and equally devastating) cross examination by the prosecution of the mothers of those who say they were never molested. Why are one group of mothers the object of pity and another group the object of derision?
These commentators need to choose: either appreciate the skills of the advocates and discuss trial techniques objectively -- or-- just admit your bias so the public does not think you are telling "the truth" when you are giving an opinion grounded in your desire for societal vengence."
This is most definitely a strange coincidence, if it is a coincidence at all. That the LAPD Chief of Police, who is resigning in the midst of the investigation of Michael Jackson's death, is married to a legal analyst/actress, who reported on TruTV and E TV on the molestation trial, and who had something strong to say about the biased media coverage of the trial.
I haven't researched deeply enough to form a theory about this, but I would guess that the Chief's resignation might have something to do with his wife's connection to Michael Jackson. It also seems to add credence to the idea that this is a Vendetta against the media and the false accusers who tried to destroy him. And it may be even more complex than that.

Excellent post, Jade!
The connection between Bratton - his wife - Michael is very interesting.
Gotta think about it a bit more to come up with a possible theory, but I wanted to thank you for bringing this to our attention.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCORt4GCSss Great find, I think this could well have some significance to the hoax. I dont know if this has some relevence but I have found this video and they are both being interviewed and she says that they have both been on many occasions to London. 02- London= beginning of the hoax? If they were in on it they would have to deal with the organisers and heads of AEG. Its at 2.47.

Yes, a great and interesting connection, jade.
But I don´t get why Bratton would retire early if his wife (and he?) were in on the hoax, helping Mike to get out before it´s too late. That is what you´re assuming right?

Re: Chief Bratton's wife
I am not sure that the Chief is in on the hoax, but maybe he knows something...or maybe his wife knows something...at the very least, I am guessing it would be a conflict of interest, although I am not sure why since Michael is not being investigated for a crime...it is interesting that she posted on her blog that statement about how twisted the coverage of the trial was. In that sense, she seems to have been on Michael's side, but I will have to look into it further.
Seems like the LAPD would have to be in the know, at least at some level. I have always thought that if there were a sting of some sort, the police and the coroner would both have been in on it.
