I don't think it's weird...in fact I think it's pretty sweet his funeral was held at night, during a full moon, in cemetery. Personally, I want my funeral held at night.

It was supposed to be held at sunset, at 7pm sharp - only the Jacksons decided that they'd come an hour+ late so it was full-on night time by the time they arrived and the guests had been waiting there for an hour and a half by the time they rolled up.
For anything else I'd say that a sunset ceremony is kind of nice, but I still don't think he's dead
