Just one thing. Im not a mother myself yet, but I have 3 beautiful children in my life, whom I love just like they were my own. If anything ever happent to one of them (GOD FORBID) I would NOT be able to move or talk to anyone. I would be paralized with grief. I would not be able to go shopping the next day thats for sure. I would not be able to do anything. I dont know, mabye its just me, but I found it odd.

LOL!! Everyone's first reaction is cracking me up too!! I can't stop laughing. This whole thing is so funny and I feel so awful laughing about a funeral!

I agree with everyone who has commented on the "SHOW BIZ" picture (and the fact that it is old) How come they didn't use a personal pic of him since it was son, father, uncle - family member who "died" and since the ceremony was "private" (what a joke).

If the children have suddenly lost the only parent they ever knew in this world, it sure doesn't seem to be causing them deep pain, grief or fear. I remember when I was little I would break down and cry at the very thought of losing either of my parents.

I'm sure the kids are "adjusting well" at Grandma's house and all, but no kids are going to "adjust" so well that they would not eventually, desperately miss their home, their daddy, their every day surroundings they had gotten accustomed to. Losing that, plus losing their only parent (and a very unique parent at that) would cause children to be VERY sad and losing a dad as special as Michael was (is) would cause them to be COMPLETELY HEARTBROKEN for a very long time. These are kids who haven't been "hardened" by the life's dissappointments. They had a dad who talked about "living forever" and they are indifferent like they can't wait to go play video games. That picture of Blanket looks very unhappy and I'm trying to figure out what could be going on with him. He looks kind of 'misrable' like a 7 year old who's saying, "oh no!! not this AGAIN...didn't we do this already!?"

In Miss Katherine's face I see more than anything she is TIRED, severely lacking in rest. Look at her eyes and just underneath and I agree she also looks very WORRIED. It looks like this has really taken a toll on her to have so much to deal with.

But I don't feel she's worried about how Michael is doing wherever he is, because I feel she knows where he is, (maybe in the Rolls?) I agree she is probably feeling worried for her conscience for lying because I agree that her religion would not let her feel complete peace with it, even though she is doing it for her son, because the Jehovah Witness religion does not believe in lying, covering up AT ALL, or doing anything with or for an "unbelieving" person. That is against God's laws, even if it is a relative, or at least that is my understanding, and I feel she is worried whether all this is going to even actually "work" in Michael's favor because she has to know how many "holes" have been left open, and I hate to say it, but I'm a little worried for her (and Michael) also. I'm not sure we are helping matters by dissecting the hoax in open like this. Does anyone else worry about that? If there are people truly out to 'get' Michael (maybe for not fullfilling on the concerts to pay back the NL loan plus the AEG agreements?) then we must need be very sensitive to that too.

At first I didn't think the "bad people" would come to this forum but if they are serious about "making sure" that Michael is gone, they might have "spies" or something like that investigating the hoax theory. I think for that reason I will become a reader only and maybe PM my thoughts to those who have PMd with me (I know I owe a couple PMs and I will do it soon, I promise!)

This will sound so out of place because others seem to feel the opposite, but to me Elizabeth looks surprisingly a little 'cheerful' for someone who has lost someone so dear to her as Michael and knowing he is about to be "put into the ground", but her red eyes (not crying just red) look like she could have been crying but I too notice how that shot is so perfect and so CLOSE-UP!! and its hard to tell whether its "enduced" tearing of the eyes she may have had (like with a little bottle of something that makes eyes red) and with an accomplished actress who's been acting since childhood and who would do anything in the world for Michael its hard to really tell.

The family is SO experienced in show business. If this was truly intended to be a private ceremony, the press would never have heard about it until AFTERWARD, if at all, if for no other reason than to guarantee that NO cameras would have been ANYWHERE in sight for them to grieve such a horrific loss in peace.

This will also seem out of place with other beliefs, but I don't (can't) believe its for a reality show (I don't believe Mother would allow it, especially this soon) unless it is because Michael convinced them that since he has had to "die" anyway, they might as well do it because it will give them the money they were hoping to gain from his performing with them which they had been reportedly trying to convince him to do.

I don't believe the Jacksons are heartless, greedy and calloused (except maybe one or two individually maybe) because as a family they do stick together.

It just seems like to me if the tragic death of their son was the REAL reason for the sadness in their expressions (and yes I felt Joseph looked sad - - for Joseph anyway lol) there would be no way a photographer would have been able to capture an extreme close-up of these very private, grieving parents.

I realize there are zoom lenses but the family would have made sure there was no clear view for photogs to be able to get a 'money-shot'.

I do not believe this would have been a 'star studded' even either, except Liz and maybe Chris Tucker and Barry Gibb (was he there??) and maybe Mark Lester but he's another story or maybe not but that's way off topic lol.

I do not believe it is us they are trying to convince (who cares about a bunch of fans lol sorry but I don't think we matter that much to them to spend this kind of money, time and effort lol).

I believe they spent a lot of money etc. to convince those who need to SERIOUSLY BELIEVE that MJ is no longer alive for a very good reason that we may never know unless we are given the findings of a very in depth, private investigation into what has caused MJ to have to go through all this.

I believe if her son was about to be put into the ground, and especially since he left the faith she believes would 'save' his soul, she would be bereft with grief. Funerals have that horribly painful 'finality' to them that makes you know for sure its over forever on earth for this person.

I also noticed the "perfection" of everything, and we all know that MJ has said MANY TIMES he doesn't want to end up performing the rest of his life and that he wants to work "behind the scenes" so perhaps he is beginning with this production we are talking about right now because I also agree that the perfection in it has Michael Jackson written all over it and I agree with Annie that we are all part of the "production".

And besides, his brothers never listened to him about anything before - why would they start now.

Remember in Keep the Faith he said, "I told my brother how to do the thing right".

Did any of the brothers listen? With maybe an exception of Tito, if they did listen to MJ about how to do things right, it sure has been hard to tell. I don't know why this topic makes me write such long posts!!! I'm really sorry about that. I cannot seem to be able not to!!

ROFL lol! Mabye thats why everytime, one of the brothers speaks to the "public" they screw it up. IM affraid that Mike is soon beginning to get gray hair, if they dont get their stories straight.

Okey now im gonna say something, and im not trying to be rude, but I have to say this. Please dont hate me.

We will know for sure if this is a hoax, the day Elizabeth Taylor, or Mrs. Jackson dies. Im so sorry, and im not trying to be rude at all. I dont want that to happen ofcause. But when it happens, there is NOWAY in this world, that Michael would stay away from their funeral. Noway.. Mabye he would be there in disguise, but for those of us, who knows where to look, we would regonize him

Sorry for saying this. I just had too

That's very true also. They could have had a private one for real (if I understand you correctly)

I tend to believe they would not put themselves, or the kids through this over and over and over like it would seem ..

I hope it is ALL staged. . . that's the only thing that's making sense to me right now for the sake of the kids. . .

Marcia Clark was there! She was a 'talking head' pundent during the trial and definitely NOT in favor of MJ. This tells me the "funeral" was a combination of things. Not just an "intimate", "quiet", "private" affair.

I believe it was designed to serve a multi-fold purpose...mostly to "convince".

Tom Messereau was there too. I've been trying to figure out if he's in on it.

Any opinions on that?

sentiments. With over 200 varieties in a wide spectrum of colors, the
iris, which fittingly takes its name from the Greek word for "rainbow,"
can be found in virtually every part of the world, growing both
naturally and in farms. While garden irises can come in any of these
many varieties, the flower's cut versions are mostly blue (the most
popular type), white, and yellow.

The
iris's history is rich, dating back to Ancient Greek times when the
Greek Goddess Iris, the messenger of the gods and the personification
of the rainbow, acted as the link between heaven and earth. Purple
irises were planted over the graves of women to summon the Goddess to
guide the dead in their journey. Ancient Egyptian kings marveled in the
iris’s exotic nature, and drawings have been found of the flower in a
number of Egyptian palaces. During the Middle Ages, the meaning of
irises became linked to the French monarchy, and the Fleur-de-lis
eventually became the recognized national symbol of France. From their
earliest years, irises were used to make perfume and as a medicinal
remedy. Today, they are primarily seen in gardens, in bouquets, and in
the wild all over the world.

Through
its intricate history, the meanings of the iris has come to include
faith, hope, and wisdom. Depending on factors such as color and region,
irises may bear additional meanings as well. In some parts of the
world, the dark blue or purple iris can denote royalty, whereas the
yellow iris can be a symbol of passion. Irises may also express courage
and admiration. The many meanings of the iris makes the flower a great
choice for an array of gift giving occasions: corporate, sympathy, get
well, thinking of you, and birthday are just some of the occasions for
which irises might be the perfect choice.

Today,
the iris is the state flower of Tennessee, and the Fleur-de-lis is the
emblem for the city of New Orleans. Irises are cultivated all over the
world, and they can be found naturally in Europe, the Middle East,
northern Africa, Asia, and North America.

Flowers at the burial was a mix of :

Lily white
White roses
Purple iris (not sure here)

Lily white :

official burial observation thread - Page 3 Flowers_lily_white

meaning:

LILY, WHITE: Purity, modesty, virginity, majesty, it's heavenly
to be with you. The white lily is linked to Juno, the queen of the gods
in Roman mythology, by the story that while nursing her son Hercules,
some excess milk fell from the sky creating the group of stars we call
the Milky Way, and lilies were created from what milk fell to the
earth. The Easter lily is also known as the symbol of the Virgin Mary.

and white roses meaning :

White roses have several meanings: “You’re
heavenly,” reverence and humility, innocence and purity, “I’m worthy of
you,” and secrecy and silence.

It was definitely white lilies and something else at the Service on thursday. I have no idea about 'flowers of ecstacy' but they don't look present at the Service.

I am not sure whether anyone answered a question which was raised earlier about the length of Paris' hair at the funeral..but ET showed some footage of the funeral and when she got out of the car, I noticed that her hair was waist-long and it could very well been due to hair extension..nevertheless, it was def. longer than it was at the memorial service..

IDK why this is any relevance but hope this helped Smile

I know ecstasy is synthetic.

But the flowers in Michael's hands are still flowers. It's why I think those flowers was purple iris.

and about the dvd issue, I think it's so insensitive and despicable and imo everything seems to be about money for AEG and the Jacksons when it comes to Michael(excluding Janet and Katherine of course) Evil or Very Mad
