Alexandria is my home and normally I would have seen it in the DMV area. I'm on a work assignment in Richmond and saw it here. I actually got to see it at an Imax theater at no extra charge because of a computer scheduling glitch. LOL... when I see it again on Saturday, it will be at a regular theater screen.

Did anyone else get a parting gift? We did. Nothing elaborate but I will treasure it always just the same. We received key lanyards with a miniature laminated poster attached. Each side shows a different view of the TII poster. I smiled when I received it. You would have thought that it was made of gold by my response.

Just got back from the TII! I just wanna say what I think!

It's ALL MICHAEL!
I see NO CLUES about hoax!
I love MJ especially when he wore those thick jacket and baggy pants!
I refused to look at my watch in the theaters because I didnt want it to end =(
I wish I can watch it again, but I have no money.

I feel that this movie is just a celebration of michael's life!

Not sure if you guys read the credits roll, it said "Michael wanted to thank his dancers" or something like that. =(

Jacksonolagist-You must...honestly he seemed like someone that wouldnt be bad to work for-I mean ANYONE who over ANYTHING creative or is going to be "shown" to LOTS of ppl is going to get tense..so I really never felt he was being unreasonable -just a little frusterated -This was THE MAN,dealing with alot of younger ppl who were not understanding what he was saying. But all in all everyone seemed to enjosy themselves in his presence and he seemed to feed on their energy.ANd personally, even though he was undenaibly thin (but he has been that thin before) ,I still thought his guyliner was hot-just MO-don't care what he did with his face. I told everyone at work today(I never went to bed) I had a date with a hot 51 year old last night.

He was demanding, it's true. But I thought he was patient with them. Some of the people there seemed to never get what he was saying...yet he never made a scene...Or maybe I'm just going easy on him cause I know myself...I have a hard time dealing with people that don;t seem to get it even after you spell it out for them:P
Like when he was working with this sound guy and he told him what kinda sound he wants..he didn;t get it the first time, didn;t get it the second time and when MJ finally told him he should just play it like on the original track, that's all he has to do, HE STILL DIDN'T GET IT! And I could see Michael got a little pissed but insetad of saying something bad he just started laughing ( frustrations laughter ) and said something like " oh you're so funny, that's funny" and walked away..I would have gone mad and stayed there with him till he got it...played the cd for him if i had too...I'm not patiente so I admire that in people

Or with the guitarist, the blonde girl, when she was supposed to do her solo and she couldn;t get it and he told her "this is your moment to shine, and we'll be right here to help you, by your side"...and when she still didn;t get it...he was still calm...

Yes. And originally the concert was in my opinion, meant to be dedicated to the kids. So it's reasonable that he dedicates it to the kids rather than to himself? It's kinda weird to dedicate the concert to MJ. Because he was the one who produced it.

This movie/concert-to-be was like a celebration of Michael, what he is really passionate about, the "love for live". We see michael at his best, thus there will be no doubts about how good michael really is. I am glad they chose the good parts because Michael wouldnt want us to judge and view him at his most vulnerable moments.

Michael deserves the success he had or has now, I believe that even though,he may not make a comeback, his legacy will live on, and this is what he really wants. He doesnt want pple to recognize him by his looks or presence, he wants people to appreciate what he does, what he really lives for. To michael, he himself is not everything, it's the people surrounding him, it's what he really loves that he wants us to see.

But the piano guy STILL he was like "more booty" or whatver-I dont think Mj even liked that. HAH-yes then at the end he talking to them-yeah he was calm-sweet. Thats y I cant beleive all these ppl saying stuff like he really didnt talk in that soft voice and he really cursed and all this other stuff....ok then that must mean all these "secret" tapes we keep hearing he is putting on a show too.

Aww...I can still hear his giggle in my mind. I have to go see the movie again. I have 10 bucks. That's exactly how much I need for my ticket. I'm 16 and STILL DON'T HAVE A JOB so I'm pretty broke right now. I was thinking of going again tonight because I loved it that much. And I wanna bring my paper and pen this time. But I only have enough for one ticket and I hate going to the movies alone. I might do it for MJ though. Hehe. What do you guys think????

Yes!!! I know right?? I got sooo depressed last night. I wanted to go see it again soo bad but I felt like there was no way. My mom told me to just buy it on dvd. I said, "MOM, I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG!!" I didn't yell it but it was kinda whiny. Lol. I should just go. I will. I'll see when the next showing it. Yay!!

Just back from seeing TII. Oh wow MJ is so unbelievable.
The man still can move like he did 20 years ago. It was brilliant.
I loved how he was so precise and in control. All this BS that he didn't want to do the shows - this movie proves MJ was loving being back.
After seeing it I feel alot of it was scripted or fake real if you know what I mean. It was like a documentary but at times felt like a movie like the part where the cast spoke to the camera was scripted, if this was just footage for MJ to store then why talk to the camera idk just my feelings on it.

My sister came with me and she's not a huge fan but she loved it and couldn't believe how energetic MJ was and loved all his songs. She thought he was fantastic so I was thrilled she came out a fan!

Thriller was excellent, the dancing was excellent. They don't care about us fab and Smooth Criminal unreal.

I came out of the theatre feeling very sure that MJ is alive and is teaching us a lesson, I don't believe he's in danger I believe he's leading us in changing the planet and healing the world.

I just got home from the movie and thought that is was incredible!!! I did think that it was MJ in all of rehearsals but I also noticed that the MJ with the gold glittery pants seemed more enlivened and more like the old MJ and wondered why they didn't show more of that rehearsal. I was trying to look for clues and the first thing that hit me were the previews. I don't know if they use the same previews everywhere but where i was the first was about a family that had to go in the GOVERNMENT WITNESS PROTECTION system and had to start over. The second was the vampire movie and the scene shown was when he was PROTECTING HER frfom the other vampires and the last was the 2012 movie showing the earth being destroyed in 2012. ?? Any connection or am I just grasping at straws??

See, I thought that was really weird too. They played the same trailers here. Where are you? I'm in Vancouver, WA. Hmm.
They also played the trailer for a movie called The Blind Side which is a true story about a homeless teen that gets taken in by this kind woman and he gets an education etc. Sandra Bullock plays the mother and the main character's name happens to be Michael. Hehe.
But yes, I posted something about the whole 2012 thing. When Michael said we only have 4 years to take care of the earth or whatever, I said he could have been referring to the Mayan calendar and how it ends on December 23, 2012. I read somewhere that MJ was obsessed with the thought of it or something. Not sure if I believe it though since it was a tabloid. But I think it sounds like something MJ would think about. People say 4 yrs. would be 2013, but the rehearsal footage is before June right? So MJ could have meant 4 yrs. as in all of 2009, all of 2010, all of 2011, and all of 2012...since it's not until the very end of the yr. I'm not really sure what my thoughts are on the 2012 thing I was just simply throwing the possibility of MJ referring to it out there.

Oh wow. I'm sorry. I agree. All the fans, everyone who bought a ticket should have gotten one. I'm in Vancouver, WA and went to a theatre here. Just the normal one, not the IMAX. I still loved every minute of it though.

Thanks a lot LIZ. I wouldn't bank on the DVD since for sure SONY will do some alterations as to what they want people to see. Have you heard that Sony can't release their DVD not until 4 months after- so that means February. There's a thread on this.

I saw the thread on them not releasing it until Feb. Some people say it will be released on Prince's b-day which is Feb. 13th I think.
I feel Christmas coming too. My family is crazy. We get in the spirit of Christmas in like October. Lol. I went to the store a while ago and I planned on buying a whole bunch of of Halloween stuff. Then I came out of the store with tons of Christmas decorations. LOL!!!!

I know...a lot of people keep asking me about part 2. But I had some viruses on my computer so my uncle had to nuke(wipe out) my computer. So I lost all of my MJ videos that I use to make my vids. So I have to download them all again which takes a lot of time. I have been busy with school and this forum. Lol. I'm addicted. I love all of you so much. You don't even know. I'm tellin' ya.
